Adrian and Jake

I drove to the airport to pick up Adrian and Jake, and held a sign.

I spotted them before they saw me.

"Jake! Adrian!" I called.

Both guys looked my way, and Jake ran up to me, and wrapped me in a bear hug.

"Ahh!" I squealed. "Jake!!!"

"Chelsea!!!"

"I can't believe you're really here!" I laughed.

It was weird to think, that, I wasn't alone anymore. I have a family. Friends.

Colby, Adrian, and Jake.

Adrian spoke, pulling me from my thoughts.

"Hey," His smile was sexy. "You must be the hot chick who's letting us stay in her house?"

I rolled my eyes, but hugged him too.

"Alice, I just wanna thank you. We'll help pay bills, and stuff." Jake said.

I laughed. I had never laughed so much before. "The bills are automatically payed from my parent's account. All we have to pay for is the food we eat."

Adrian raised his eyebrows. "You gotta be kidding?"

I shook my head. "Nope. Now, c'mon. We need to go home, and get you both enrolled in school."

We got in my black chevy camero convertible, throwing their few bags into the trunk.

"Damn

"Damn. Nice car." Jake admired the car, then slid into the passenger's seat.

I smiled a half smile, then started the car.

Soon, we arrived at my house, and the boys got out and admired it.

I unlocked the door, and led them into their separate rooms.

"Here's the kitchen... here's the bathrooms... living room... my room..."

I gave them a full tour of the house, then, we went outback.

"Here is my forest. I'd be careful, because there's wolves, and you guys may be perceived as intruders. But otherwise, they're very kind, except for the female white one, who seems to hate me. Don't go into the forest alone, especially at night, and just don't harm the wolves."

The boys nodded their heads, and went inside to unpack.

I sat alone outside looking for my wolf.

He had yellow eyes, and a grey-black fur.

Slowly, he approached me.

"It's okay, my wolf. They're just some friends, and my brother." I pet him, and the wolf closed his eyes.

The white she-wolf growled at the edge of the forest, and my wolf pushed against me, until I was taking steps backwards, into my house, and I had locked the glass door.

The she-wolf growled once more, then darted back into the forest.

My yellow eyed wolf met my eyes once more, then followed the she-wolf.

Adrian came up beside me.

"I saw the wolves. I didn't know that they were so friendly. Well, except the white one."

I shrugged. "When I was younger, she tried to attack me, but that wolf saved me. He stopped her. But they're always gone during the summer. Well, he is, and most of them are."

"He means a lot to you." It wasn't a question.

I smiled into the glass. "Yeah." I whispered, my breath fogging the door.

Closing my eyes, I began to recite a poem, one that I had read, when my wolf stood in the yard, watching me.

"Again and Again, however, we know the language of love, and the little churchyard with its lamenting names and the staggeringly secret abyss in which others find their end: again and again the two of us go out under the ancient trees, make our bed again and again between the flowers, face to face with the skies."

Adrian began to speak, but my phone ringing cut him off.

It was Colby.

"Hello?"

"Hey. I just wanted to see how you were doing."

"Uhm... good, I guess. I have some big news, and a couple people I'd like you to meet, if you can come over?"

"Who?"

"It's too much to explain over the phone. Can you come over?"

"I guess. But it'd better be big."

"Oh, it is. See you soon."

He hung up, and about 10 minutes later, the doorbell rang.

I opened it, and Colby stood there, shivering.

I let him in, and had him sit down.

"ADRIAN! JAKE!" I called the boys down here.

Both walked in, and looked Colby over.

"Colby, this is Jake... I just found out he's my half-brother. And this is his friend, Adrian." I turned to the boys. "Guys, this is Colby, a friend of mine. Colby, they'll be staying here, and going to school with us."

Colby shook both Jake and Adrian's hands, and I swear I needed a gas mask for all the testosterone in the air.

"This is big."

"I wasn't joking!" I smiled.

"Damn.... a brother." Colby whispered.

I nodded, then looked at the other two boys. "You guys finish unpacking. I'll order pizza?"

They ran back to their rooms, and I turned to Colby. "You wanna stay for dinner? And I can tell you what happened?"

He nodded, and we sat down on the couch.

"So, last night I got a text -from Jake- and he said he was my half-brother, from my father, before him and my mother got together, and had me. So he texted and was like, hey, I'm your brother. I'm moving down to where you are. Can you pick us up from the airport. Us is Adrian and Jake. So, I did, and let them stay here."

Colby smiled.

A smile to die for.
