"ugh, i give up," joe said as a frustrated sigh emitted from his lips. he let go of rosario's hair that was tangled in his hands.
rosie turned around from where she sat on the floor in front of joe, a few strands of hair hanging loosely in front of her eyes. "oh come on, it's barely even been five minutes. and you're the one that said you wanted to try braiding my hair."
"okay, okay," joe muttered. rosie smiled and grabbed joe's hand placing a soft kiss on it before turning back around.
he pulled softly at a few locks of the girl's hair and began what felt like his millionth attempt at braiding her hair, his face contorted into a look of pure concentration.
it had been a short day of filming for the two and following the end of it, the couple found themselves back at rosario's apartment. and somehow, someway things led to joe wanting to try to braid her hair.
"i think i finally did it," joe said, after vigorously working on a braid for about five minutes. "look at it."
rosie pulled out her phone and opened the front camera. she then began to examine her hair. the braid was a tangled mess she couldn't deny that, but compared to the other ones joe had done this one was the best.
"it's...um, nice?" rosario said, her response sounding more like a question than a response. her fingers ran up and down the disheveled braid.
"that didn't sound certain," joe pouted.
"it's definitely better than the others," rosario responded and joe only stared back at her, still unsatisfied with her answer. "it's the most beautiful braid i have ever seen in my entire life," rosario said and joe finally smiled pressing a soft kiss against her lips. the pair pulled away from one another when a knock sounded at rosie's door.
"hey, go get the door for me while i try to take this out and not pull out all of my hair," rosie told him as she made her way toward her bathroom.
rosario brushed out the tangles in her hair and when she went back to the living room she was met with the sight of her best friend standing in front of her.
"holy crap, frankie. what are you doing here?" rosario asked, a smile making its way onto her face as she walked over to give francesca a hug.
"hey, don't act like you're the only one that can give surprises," frankie smirked and hugged her raven haired friend back.
