I opened my eyes and saw everything differently. It was blurry. Why is my vision blurry if I'm a vampire? I touched my eyes and my fingers ran into something. My glasses. Duh! How stupid can I get? I reached for them and took them off. A hand took them from me. A very good-looking hand. I saw every detail in it. All the curves and pores. I can see deeper than that. I can see the blood and the bones and the blood and the muscles and the blood. Wait. Didn't I say that already?

"You're not use to your improved vision, are you?" A lovely voice asked, "It takes some time to get use to. All you are seeing is the blood cells in my body. Your conscious is telling you that you need blood." I looked up at the person who was speaking and he was gorgeous. He made Blake look like a cockroach. My eyes looked past all the finer details and adjusted to the figure and the face. The gorgeous man standing in front of me was Blake. I hugged him.

"You're crushing me." He said. I stopped hugging him.

"I'm sorry. I'm not use to being super strong." I said. He kissed me.

"It's alright. You need blood though. Here. Drink." He tossed me a bag that was filled with blood. I automatically drank it.

"There you go," He said, "You look a lot like yourself now. You should feel like yourself too. Do you?" I looked at him and saw the same Blake I did before. My eyes didn't tear through his skin this time.

"Yeah. I'm myself again. How long can I go without blood?"

"Only a few days at the beginning and then you can go without for months in a while."

"Are you going to keep providing me with blood bags?"

"Until you can fend for yourself."

"I'll stick with donations. What time is it?"

"You woke up when the sun rose. It's 7 now."

"7 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING! MY MOM IS GOING TO KILL ME!"

"She can't kill something that is immortal."

"Then she'll ground me until she dies."

"I doubt it." He kissed me again and this time I kissed him back.

"I should really go home now." I said.

"I'll drive you. You need help taking your clothes in." He drove me home and I quietly walked in the door. I tried to sneak up stairs but the bags were dragging on the floor.

"Alexandria Marie Calvin," My mom called, "What are you doing coming home so late?" I stopped moving and looked at her.

"We were out shopping all night," I lied, "Blake and I passed out in the car." Blake walked through the door.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Calvin," Blake apologized, "We were out until 2 in the morning and I was going to take her home but we both fell asleep in the car." Mom looked at him. She sighed.

"Just make sure to get her home next time. I was up all night worrying about you. I'm tired and I'm going to bed. Alex, the work you missed from school is on the counter. Make Royce some breakfast when he gets up and Blake if you want to stay, you can." Wow. She called me Alex. She must be really tired.

"Thank you, Mrs. Calvin." Blake said. She yawned then went up to bed.

"What did you do to her?" I asked, "She would never let me get off that easily."

"I don't think you got off easily."

"What are you talking about? She would have grounded me and sent you off to prison or something."
