Everyone fails. We're human, we mess up all the time. You can never do everything that God wants you to do so that you live the best life possible for you. Your life will always be tainted with sin. Jesus died so that even though you sin, that sin can be forgiven completely. When you ask for forgiveness for your sin God completely wipes it off the record He doesn't hold it against you. But you have to ask for forgiveness and actually try to do better the next day. You can't work your way into Heaven, you have way to much sin for that. You only get into Heaven because God loves you and He forgives you not because of all the good things you do. That doesn't mean you shouldn't strive to do good things and serve others, it just means that you get in because of God grace. You should always try to do God's will for your life because God knows how our life will go after every decision. He knows how people will react to what you do and say and knows that your life will end up better if you follow His will.
