Standing at his doorstep all drenched in the rain is no fun like really. It was 9:00 p.m but was the darkest night of all. I almost felt like if he doesn't open the door I'll have to stay here till the morning light, atleast it'll be better than getting creepy feelings of ghosts and spirits chasing you all the way home.

Finally he opened the door, seeing his face one would've guessed he wasn't really happy about the fact that I was there.

"Are you out of your mind? What are you doing here all drenched in the rain?"

"Arjun, I-I'm sorry."

"Get in, please."

"No, No no I'm not getting in till you forgive me."

"You're impossible Riya" he said grabbing my hand to take me inside. I resisted and stood there "Arjun? I said I'm not getting in."

"Riya you don't need to say sorry. It was all my fault. I was rude with you and I know that you care about me."

"You do?"

"What do you think? I've not seen you taking care of me? If I don't speak, it doesn't mean I don't notice. I love you." he hugged me tight.

I felt a tear come out of my eyes. I don't know what got into me that moment. But it felt like this is all what I want. I wished the world was just me and him. All I was able to utter was "I love you too Arjun."

We parted hugs and I said "Do you still love me like you did before? Ignoring the fact that I didn't ever care about what is your past or what do you feel like?"

"Riya right now I've seen you with full teary eyes, red nose and extra wet hair but I'm still holding you in my arms and not creeping out. Do you still doubt my love for you?"

I laughed, nudged him and said "Get me a towel atleast, idiot."

"I guess I'll need one too now, thanks to you." he said laughing.

Mom was right and I'm glad I was able to 'go get him'.
