Cassie POV*
I had that dream again.
As I fell from the sky and could see the ground coming closer I remember never feeling scared. When I look up the first thing I see is a beautiful crescent moon looking back at me. Looking to the ground, a bright white began to shine as bright as the sun and the whisper of my name in the wind fading.
"Cassiopeia."
"Cass!" Jumping at the sound of my name and the loud ring of my phone I ended up on my room floor. Again.
"Cassie come on get up or we'll be late!" That would be my best friend Emi, Emily King. This loud, rule breaking girl has been my best friend and traveling with me since I was twenty, going on six years ago. While I was passing through Russia I ran into Emily who was also passing through visiting her older brother who was making a stop there for his vacation. From what I heard from her, him and his friends would be, as she said 'flying in' to visit her soon. Making my way down the apartment stairs fighting a ponytail that reaches the middle of my back I bumped into someone as soon as I fixed it before I felt a arm rap around my waist. Looking up I found myself locked in a staring contest with a very tall guy that looked familiar.
"Sorry and thanks, and it's good seeing you again." Smiling at Max I excused myself and quickly left to the the nice little restaurant across the street that Emi and I both worked at and oddly sometimes had the same hours.
"You was almost late hurry up we have an order to take out and I need two more hands." Emi said just as I came in the door as I put on my apron.
"Sorry Emi, I literally ran into a old friend. Let's go." I told Emi before grabbing a tray of drinks and food Emi got another tray of food and I followed her out to a table in her area that had only three guys. On the way Emi told me what food I had went to which guy along with the drinks before we put on our smiles and she greeted the guys when someone bumped into me nearly knocking the trays out my hand and me to the ground when I felt a hand on my back hold me up while Emi helped me steady the glasses. Letting out a sigh I straightened myself and realized it was Max again that bumped into me.
"Sorry Sinclair, I guess today is knock you over day." Max said with a small smile while scratching his head but not making eye contact with me. Turning around I was literally at a loss for words when I locked eyes with one of the strangest set of eyes that seemed to burn with some unknown fire the longer we look.
"Cass. Cassie?" Emi called.
"Yea?" Emi's voice hardly register in my mind while im trapped in the strange man's eyes.
"Cass, their drinks." Emi's voice all but slapped me. Turning my full attention to the tall brunette I helped her pass out the guys orders before hugging my two trays to my chest refusing to look at the man again even though he was clearly looking at me.
"So sis, when you gonna introduce your pretty friend?" I was quick to look to the guy that almost mirrored Emi and couldn't help holding the trays tighter a little with all the sudden attention I was getting.
"Right, Cass this is my brother I was telling you about, Jacob. Unfortunately he's my idiot twin." She said pointing to him then shooting me a bored.
"Sorry to remind you but I'm older." He told her with a smug face and she glared at him.
"By FIVE minutes Jacob. Anyway he's the one I was telling you would be over to visit with his weird friends Luke and his little brother Max." Emi told me as I looked at her.
