"What do you mean? What prophecy? Jo. what are you talking about?" Jo hesitated but decided that he should tell Amy. She would know one way or the other. And the other way wasn't too pretty. He had seen what happened otherwise...... they got killed before they had even known what they're were supposed to do. It were mostly the most cruel dead's. It was kinda sad actually.
He took a deep breath and sighed. "Long ago. A few years after humanity had taken the powers over the monsters, a very old and wise god telled a prophecy: one day a human shall arrive up from the 'normal world' the human shall be a girl and she shall be 12 years old. To free monster kind from the grip of humanity. But the one fallen down has to complete the whole journey, all the way to hell and beat him. only then the monsters will be able to beat human kind once and for all'" after Jo said that Amy's chin almost touched the ground. Amy stared at Jo in disbelief.
"I am that human?!" Amy started to panic a little bit. She never thought that she would be chosen for anything. Heck. She barely knew what responsibility was.
"But..but how?! How can I be the one?! Maybe you're wrong this can't be true"
"I don't know for sure but all the evidence points to you"
"But how can I beat a literal demon?! That's nearly impossible!" Amy didn't really liked the idea of going to hell.
"We will find a way. but for now look!" Amy and Jo stood in front of a big metal gate. It was rusty and there were some small holes in it. She saw some high buildings not far away from the gate.
"Is that Hyacinth?" Amy looked up from the big metal gate. Up on Avon's house the city looked so beautiful. But now... it looked wrecked.
"Yep. This is Hyacinth 'the big city'. It looks different from the hill doesn't it?"
"Yeah. It looks wrecked" after Amy said that a guard in the same armour as the monsters by the cabin came. But he walked on top of the gate.
"HEY! WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?"
"Hi. I am A-."
"We are just traveling trough" Amy was cut off by Jo hitting her on her arm. It hurts. He has a strong punch, it may come handy for later.
"OW! Hey! What was that for?!" Amy shrieked a little while massaging her arm to make the pain go away faster. It really did hurt. Maybe it leaves a bruise later.
"We'll talk about this"
"OK THEN. GUYS OPEN THE GATE!" The gate opened almost immediately. And Amy and Jo passed trough.
"What where you thinking?! You can't just go to them and say your name! They will kill you!"
"I'm sorry. But you don't have to hit me!" Amy said and sighed "I'm gonna watch my tongue next time. But if someone asks my name and age what do I say?"
"Look. You can just say your name, but for your age just say that you're 11 years old"
"Then why can't I say my name in front of the guards?" Amy wondered. ' why Did he hit me? Was it just for fun?!' Amy was pulled back into reality again by Jo.
"Trust me. I have my reasons" they just started to walk through the city. Amy still pondering on what Jo said.
'Strange. Jo never acted to me like this before. Sure, I just know him but it isn't like him to do so mysterious. Or is this who he really is? Can I even trust him?! I know barely anything about him. But... I feel like I've known him for years. It feels as if I can trust him' and with that Amy started to talk with Jo about how things are working here.
