Chapther 10: the escape? Pt.1

Avon grabbed his sword, swung it at Rachel and....cut her head off....the head rolled to where Amy and Jo were. Amy wanted to puke and cry at the same time until a tiny hand grabbed Amy's hand and pulled her upstairs again. It were Fre and Anne, also in tears to what they just saw. After a while they all swiped the tears away.
"Come on we know a secret way out of here" They both said, and lead them in one of the six doors that was closed, Anne grabbed a key from under a nearby vase and unlocked the door. Behind the door there is a staircase leading downstairs in a sort of long hall. They all go downstairs and into the hallway.

After what looked like an hour they reached a big golden-ish door with the crest on it. Fre reached to the door and pushed it open. Behind the door there was a sort of mine-ish thing, there were some mine carts and some beautiful minerals in the walls. They all stepped in a mine cart. But before they leaved they heard Avon and the guardsmen.
"QUICK! THERE HERE!" Avon yelled, but before he could even reach the door they were gone, into the old mines.... As the mine cart rolled further it had gotten faster and faster until it had gotten to some non-human pace.
"Uuuuuuuh....guys? How does this mine cart exactly stop?" Jo asked clearly afraid of the speed they were going.
"We still have a long way to go. You'll see" Anne and Fre said in sync, after they said that a closed mine came in scene. It was pretty obvious that it was closed because it had literal iron bars covering it!
"It doesn't stop!" The dwarfs yelled. "Oh...oka- WAIT WHAT?!" Jo said even more panicking than before.
"We have to jump out of the cart before it hits the iron bars!" "WHAT?! NO!" Jo was yelling by now, fearing for his life. "We have to do it! Do you want to be dead?" Amy said preparing for when they had to jump out of the cart. "N-no...okay FINE I'll do it!" "Well then! On 3! 1..." the cart was accelerating even more. "2..." the four friends prepared themselves for the impact. "3! " Anne and Fre yelled, all of them jumped immediately out from the cart. Not long after the mine cart hit the iron bars, the cart was squished into the bars.
"Wow...that was a close call, are you okay guys?" Amy said, she had some bruises and some little cuts but she was fine. "Yeah...I'm okay.....I think" Jo said, he landed besides Amy. They both stood up, looking to where the two dwarfs landed, they couldn't find them until they heard some shuffling behind a big rock, from that rock two dwarfs emerged. "Thank you guys on asking if we are okay." Fre said sarcastically. "We couldn't find you two. Anyway...where are we exactly?" Amy asked, now that she looked more closely she could see that she was in a big....cave-ish room? With trees? And on the ceiling there were glowing stones? This was very weird for Amy. They stood on rocks so how did the trees grow?
"This is a place we used to hang out a lot. When we discovered it under the house the trees were already there. But...no time for looking around. We have to keep going or else the guardsmen may find us." Anne and Fre started walking back to the rock, but the problem was: that the only way out was from the way they came from.
Uuuuh....guys? You know that there is no way out of here?" Amy said, confused at what has to happen next. Meanwhile the dwarfs were behind the rock again, so Amy and Jo decided to follow them. What they saw was a trapdoor behind the rock, going even deeper then they already were, but also much darker Anne and Fre were standing there in the hallway with a torch, giving it little dim light.
"Why does this go even deeper? And why do I trust it?" Amy asked the two dwarfs from above.
"We created these hallways. They lead to a trapdoor on the surface" Anne and Fre said.

They waved to Jo and Amy to come down.
"Are you guys even coming?" Amy didn't really want to but had no other choice. Jo was already by the dwarfs. Amy jumped into the hole causing the trapdoor slam shut behind her. She was given an torch and walked behind the group. Amy started to feel guilty about what happened to Rachel, she died because of her.
"This is all my fault" Amy said, causing confusion in the group.
"What do you mea-" "Rachel died because of me. If me and Jo never came to Klijding this would never have happened. If Rachel just said where me and Jo were she wouldn't be dead by now.....I-I'm so sorry" Amy bursted out in tears. But the two dwarfs came to Amy hugging her.
"Rachel died for our freedom Amy. NEVER forget that. If you had never come to Klijding you would be dead by now" they said, almost letting their own tears fall. They stood there for a while until Amy calmed down.
"T-thanks *sniff* guys this means a lot to me"
"No problem Amy we are here for you even if it is in the most hardest of times. We will be there for you" Anne and Fre said, hugging Amy one more time.
"We better get going. COME ON!" Anne and Fre said, they started running deeper into the hallways.
"Hey! Wait for us!" Amy said, they also started running into the deep and dark halls.
