Nicoles Pov
I hated this place.I was sick and tired of everyone pushing me around.Calling me names,hitting me.Leaving me battered and bruised both mentally and physically.Yet the only person who even to understandeven a little been,was my best friend,Virgil, who I was madly deeply in love with,yet he didn't seem to see that even though I tried to be as clear as I could as being who I am.You see I am emo,everyone hatedthat though,my parents espically.They hated every single thing about me,my hair, how i dressed, how i did in school,my friends, they nit pick everything.They hit me,my body covered in brusies.Anyway,I was walking far away from my "home".Running wouldn't of mattered anyway.They were probably gonna celebrate the fact that I was finally gone.Nobody cared about me, not even my best and only friend.My first and last love.. Sighing I pulled the hood of my jacket over my head as the,cold rain drops started.

~~ a couple minutes later ~~

I sat on the bench looking up at the sad sky that had been crying it's sadness away for the last couple of minutes.The rain had mixed with the tears that started dripping from my eyes.I started getting tired the moment I sat down,after a long day of school, bullying and walking had finally caught up to me.I layed on the bench to take a nap, not really caring what others thought if they saw me right now.As soon as I was comfy as I could be,I fell asleep, with the rain pouring through the tree and onto me.My phone kept buzzing but I was too tired to answer.

Virgils pov

Nicole seemed distant today while we were at school.Her beautiful smile had seemed to fade.The happiness in her eyes that spark that she got when she looked at me was gone.I was in love with her,but I couldn't tell her that, she wouldn't belive me.She always used to tell me no one would ever love her becasue of what she was, yet she was so very wrong. It was getting late at night and no call or text from her and I was started to get worried about her. I decided to call her, first time.. no answer.. second no answer. I kept just calling her and calling her, each and every time no answer.I debated going to her house to see if she was there, but if she was she would of picked up on the very first ring. Going against everything good inside me,I tracked her phone. 'Why, was she at the park at time of night?!' I though pulling on my jacket and quietly going out the door and into the cold,dark and rainy night.

~~ 20 minutes later ~~

It didn't take me too long to find the beautiful girl once I stepped foot through the gate.I sighed a breath of relif that naturally she was okay,out in the rain yes but other wise okay. I gently walked over to her and shook her shoulder kneeling in front of her.She stirred and opend her gorgeous (eyecolor) eyes to me. "Virgil?" she asked rubbing her eyes from sleep." It's me Nicole,but what are you doing out here,in this storm?" I asked gently moving the hair from her eyes. " I couldn't take it there anymore Virg, the hitting,the yelling.Not that anybody would care if I went away" she said more tears running down her face. I gasped getting up and pulling her up with me.I sat on the bench and put Nicole on my lap."I care" i said gently "But.." she started "NO. Nicole I care for you so so much. I love you!!" I said pulling her closer to me. " Virgil.. why?" She asked putting her head on my chest. "Because you are gentle, kind and so smart! Also drop dead gorgeous!!" I said pulling her face up closer to mine. She blushed and leaned in, I met her halfway and pushed my lips against hers. After a minute, she pulled away slightly and whispered " I love you" and I then whispered back "I love you too"
