I finished my shower and got out, dried my hair and got dressed. I decided to call my mom, since she told me to do so when I'd arrive.
''Hello?'' she answered. ''H-Hi mom'' ''Hi sweetie! Was your flight alright?" "Yeah, I just c-called to let you kn-now that everything is f-fine." I reassured her. "Ok, be safe. Mommy loves you!'' "L-love you too. Bye." "Bye!'' she said and hung up.
Since Mike was sleeping, I decided to go for a walk and get some fresh air. Perhaps do some shopping. I put on my jacket and grabbed a pair of shoes. I opened the door and stepped outside.

It was around 3:30 when I arrived outside the grocery shop. Getting in, I got myself a cart and started walking around the aisles. I picked everything I'd need; food, water, some decorations I liked and headed to the cash desk. I put all the stuff on the counter and waited for the cashier to do her thing.
"Hello! How can I help you?" the cashier asked and I froze, anxiety rising more and more. "Um..." was the only thing I could choke out of my throat. My chest, filled with an emotion of embarrassment and stress at the same time, almost burst as I was walking out again.
I was walking with my head tilted down, not seeing where I was going, I bumped into someone. I picked my head up and looked at the slightly taller man in front of me.
"Oh, I'm sorry! You're ok?" the brunette man speaks out. I gave him a little nod and a small smile and kept on walking. A few feet away from him, I turned around to look at him. He was still looking at me for some reason. 'Should I talk to him' I thought to myself. 'No...' But before I could say something, he did.
"I'm Tyler by the way." he said. "I-I'm y/n." "Well, it was nice meeting you, y/n" "You t-too. B-bye, Tyler" I finally said and turned around to walk back home. "Hey, y/n." he talked again. "Yes?" I turned around a little hesitant."Do you want me to give you a ride? It's pretty cold for a girl to walk..."
