My Best Friend's Brother {c.d}

Chapter One

"Hey cutie" Kendall came up to my locker.

"Hi Kendall" I said slightly annoyed.

"Oh, come on baby, whats the matter?" He asked me and I turned to face him.

"You, and im not your baby." I closed my locker and started walking away.

"Oh come on, Calum." He pouted in my face.

"Ok, Kendall leave her alone." I heard my best friend, Alexis, from behind me. I watched as Kendall turned around, head hung low and slowly walked away.

"Thanks, you basically saved my life" I said to Alexis and she laughed.

"Oh, he's only your stalker, it's the least I could do." She smiled at me.

"Come on we're gonna be late to class." I told her, dragging her hand all the way to 9th period.

All the seats were taken except one in the back and one in the front, so me and Alexis were forced to sit apart from each other. I sat in the back, knowing Alexis could use the learning.

"Ok class, so since this is the offical last week of school, we will be doing a fun project with a partner. For this project, you will test to see how similar you are to your partner. So pair up." Mrs. Dixon.

I turned to face Alexis and at the same time she turned to me. We smiled at each other, but before I knew it, Alexis' crush, Hunter, was talking to her. She started smiling, which turned into a frown, she looked at me and I gave her a thumbs up, knowing he just asked to be her partner. She smiled and nodded at him.

"Hey, Calum?" I turned and saw Nash. Yes Nash Grier. He's Alexis' brother's best friend, and he's really sweet, so maybe he could be my partner.

"Oh hey Nash." I smiled.

"So, I see Alexis is paired with Hunter. Doesn't she have like a crush on him?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yea, she's liked him since the 6th grade."

"Wow. So, you wanna be partners?" He asked and I smiled.

"Sure." I said and he smiled at me. One of Nash's friends came over and he went over to him. I looked at Alexis and walked over to her.

"Hey" I said and she squeeled.

"Ohmygoshhunteraskedmetobehispartner" She said really fast, yet I know what she said.

"I know" I squeeled with her.

"Wait. So who's going to your partner?" She asked and I smiled.

"Nash." I told her.

"Nash Grier. My brothers best friend? I thought you liked my brother." She said.

"Shhh. I dont want anyone to know." I said and covered her mouth with my hand. She laughed and I removed my hand.

"Sorry. I forgot." She said.

All of a sudden the bell rang. I walked back to my desk and got my bag and walked out of the class room with Alexis by my side.

"So I was thinking, you could come over this week and work with Nash, while I work with Hunter." Alexis said and I pushed open the doors and saw Alexis' brother waiting to pick her up with girls all around his car.

"Sure." I said. Alexis opened the passenger seat to her brother, Cameron's car, while I got in the back.

"Hey Calum, staying the night?" Cameron asked.

"Yup." I told him and threw my bag to the side.

"Can she stay the night all week? Pleaseeeee" Alexis begged.
