Chapter Four

Best Friends Brother Chapter Four.

My lips were still on Camerons when I slowly pulled away. He could tell something was wrong with me. It was that if we ever had anything bad happen, it could possibly ruin mine and Lexi's friendship.

"Calum, if you don't feel the same way, that's fine, I just wanted to tell you how I felt." He kissed my forehead and walked away. I sighed and walked upstairs to my room. I sat on my bed amd felt tears start to stream down my face. I don't even know why I was crying and not jumping for joy. I heard a knock on the door.

"Calum, it's Lexi, open up." I wiped my cheeks and got up before opening the door and letting Lexi in.

"Cam told me what happend, why didn't you tell him how you feel?" She asked me.

"I don't know, I just don't want anything bad to happen to our friendship." I told her looking down at my shoes.

"Calum Taiylor Mason, nothing bad will happen to our friendship, please, your more of my sister than Cameron is my brother. I'll do anything for you and do the stupidest things with you, because you're my best friend." She said with her hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks Alexis, you always know what to say." I said embracing her into a hug.

"Now, go talk to Cameron, or I'm sending him up here." She said standing up from my bed.

"Guess you're going to have to send him up, I don't really feel like going back down there." I said looking at my wall.

"I'll send him up in a few minutes, okay?" She asked.

"Okay." I replied and she gave me one last hug before leaving my room. It was 5:57, so I decided to change into some more comfy clothes. I changed into some 'rebel' studded sweatpants and a pink tank top that said 'sassy' in grey letters. I played on my phone for what seems like forever, I got on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Vine, and played angry birds. A few minnutes later I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in" I said, putting my phone down before I watched Cam walk in.

"Hey, Calum, can we talk?" He asked and I nodded.

"Look, i'm sorry that I kissed you, and seemed like I came onto fast, but I really do like you, a lot. I just couldn't hold it in anymore." He exclaimed and I tried to look everywhere, except his eyes.

"I know you probably don't like me back, I jus..." I cut him off by kissing his cheek, and he looked down at me.

"Don't worry weirdo, I like you too." I said and I have never seen anyone smile that big before.

"Really? You're not joking right?" He asked and I chuckled.

"No i'm not joking." I said before he met his lips with mine once more, but I didn't go stiff at all, I moved my lips with his.

"How are things goin... whoops never mind" Alexis walkes through the door then left again, causing me and Cameron to pull away and laugh. I smiled at Cam and he smiled at me.

"Calum, will you go on a date with me on Tuesday?" He asked and I nodded. He stood up and walked to the door before turning around and winking at me before leaving my roon.

I sighed and fell backwards on my bed. I just sat there for a while before Lexi walked through the door.

"Girl! You were getting it! So are you two a thing now?" She asked moving her eyebrows up and down.

"No, but he did ask me on a date!" I exclaimed and we both freaked out.

"Holy cow! If you two get married, we could be sister-in-laws!" She screached.

"Calm down girly, i'm only 18," I said.

"And Camerons 20, you could still get married." She said and I rolles my eyes.

"Whatever" I told her and she rolled her eyes.

"Wait a few years" I told her.

"So are you going to come finish this party or not?" She asked.

"I don't think so." I said lying back on the bed.

"We're going to the pool." She ooed to me.

"Coming" I said jumping up and putting on my favorite bikini. I ran down stairs with Lexi and went into the backyard. I love Lexi's pool because it had a white screen for movies, pool volleyball and basketball, a hot tub inside the pool, a slide, and they have a floating bed. The music was blasting from the sterio as me and Lexi walked over to Hunter.

"Helloooo ladies" He said, side hugging Lexi.

"Well don't you look good in a bikini." He smirked and Lexi blushed.

"Thanks" She said smiling.

"I'm going to find Cameron!" I yelled over the music and Lexi nodded. I turned around and tried to find Cameron through all the heads. I looked in the pool and saw him playing volleyball with Matt and Nash. All of a sudden I feel some one push into me and I fall into the pool. As soon as I surfaced I saw Taylor.

"Oh my god, Calum, i'm so sorry!" He apoligized like a baby would.

"I'm gonna kill you, Caniff!!" I screamed and watched as he ran away as I climbed out of the pool and chased after him.

***Taylor's POV***

I was running away from Calum as I saw Lexi.

"Lexi! Protect me!" I shouted to my best friend and hid behind her.

"What now Tay?" She questioned putting down her soda.

"Calum's going to kill me!" I told her and saw Calum making her way towards me.

"She's coming, hide me!" I said grabbing her and Hunter before hiding behind both of them.

"I'm sorry" I heard Lexi say to Hunter.

"Where's Tay?" I heard Calum ask.

"I don't know, I havn't seen him all night." Lexi said.

"Ohhhhhh, okay" All of a sudden I felt myself being pushed into the pool. I reached the surface finally.

"Lexi! You bitch! You ratted me out!" I yelled.

"But I'm your bitch!" She smirked before high-fiving Calum and picking up her soda again.

***Calum's POV***

I walked back over to where I saw Cam and surley enough, he wasn't there. I sighed and continued to search. I couldn't find him outside, so I went inside and saw him playing Just Dance with Carter. I walked over to them.

"Hey guys" I said and Cam paused the game.

"Hey beautiful." He smirked and I blushed.

"Woah, are you two like a thing now?" Carter asked and I looked at Cameron.

"No, but we have a date on Tuesday." Cam smirked at me. Our eyes not leaving contact.

"No way! You've liked her forever man!" Carter high-fived Cam and I laughed.

"Can I play?" I asked.

"Sure, but I should warn you, i'm pretty good." Cam said and I laughed.

"It just so happens, I beat Lexi every time we play, and she has taken dance for 16 years." I pointed out and Camerons eyes grew wide.

"16 Years? Really? I thought it was like 10." He said changing the subject.

"Are we playing or not?" I asked laughing.

"Lets get started." Cam said starting to play Kiss You by One Direction.

Its now after the party and everyone left. I ended up beating Cameron and Carter In just dance. I am now getting ready for bed and taking off my smeared makeup from the pool. I finished getting ready before climbing in my bed and drifting to sleep.
