Chapter Three

"Calum! Wake Up! We graduate in 2 hours!" I heard while being shaken.

I groaned and turned over to see Alexis looking at me with her hair curled, make-up on, and her favorite dress on.

"What?" I mumbled in my pillow.

"Get up and get ready! I thought you were awake!" She yelled and my eyes went wide.

"Im up! Im up!" I yelled amd jumped out of bed and grabbed the dress I laid out the night before and slipped it on.

I did my makeup more formal than I usualy would. I waterfall braided my hair and straightened the excess. After I finished all of that we had an hour to get to the high school. Alexis and I grabbed our gowns and put them in the back of her trunk. We went in the same car while Cameron and Nash went in another.

"Can you believe in less than an hour we will officaily be finished with school until college?" Alexis asked and we both squealed. We parked the car in the parking lot and went inside the high school and put on our cap and gowns.

"Helllooo ladies" We heard from behind us. I knew that voice anywhere.

"What is it Kendall?" I asked in annoyance.

"Just came over to tell I'll miss you." He hugged me, before I felt him being shoved off.

"Don't touch her." Alexis said before he smiled and I saw Cam walking towards us.

"Come on Lexi, lets go." I grabbed her arm and brought her towards Cam.

"Hey, who was that?" Cameron asked us.

"Calum's stalker." Alexis laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Want me to go talk to him?" Cameron whispered in my ear.

"Nah, it's fine" I told him and he kissed my forehead.

"Lexi!" We heard and I watched as Hunter ran up to her and embraced her into his arms.

I watched as they hugged and chat while Nash and Cameron talked.

"Will all seniors report to the gym for graduation please." We heard over the speakers. I walked to the gym with Nash while Cameron went to go take his seat in the audience.

The graduating seniors marched in to their seats to "Pomp and Circumstance." There where a lot of speeches by people such as the principal, the superintendent, and a guest speaker. The valedictorian and salutatorian (seniors with highest GPA) gave speeches. The senior class president also made a speech. The students graduating got called to come up and get a sash. Then the seniors were called, one by one to get their diploma, they went forward, shook hands with the people (usually a couple of people) who were handing out the diplomas, then headed back to their seats. They finally called my name and I stood up, while I heard multiple screams. I walked up and grabbed my diploma and shook hands, before making my way back to my seat. Then when everyone had their diploma, we officially moved the tassels to the other side.

"I'd like to announce the graduating class of 2014" The principle announced and many students tossed their mortar board hat into the air, including me and Alexis, and the ceremony was done. I officially graduated.

I got up and hugged Alexis before hugging Nash, and Alexis hugging Hunter.

Cameron came over and hugged all three of us congragulating all of us. We changed out of our cap and gowns before going back into the cars we arrived in and headed to the Olive Graden. We met almpst every one there. Cam, Nash, Matt, Taylor, Jack J, Jack G, Hunter, and Mahogany. Carter, Aaron, Sam, Jacob, and Dillon couldn't make it. We all walked in amd got a table for 10. The waitress kept eyeing the guys and smirked.

"Slut much?" Mahgony whispered in mine and Alexis' ears and we giggled.

"What?" Taylor asked.

"Nothing" We said in illusion. We sat down and ordered our food before talking.

"So, there is a little suprise when we all go home." Cameron smiled.

"God Cam, what did you do?" Alexis asked rolling her eyes.

"It's not bad!" He defended.

"Did you get the elevator installed yet?" I asked and he smiled.

"Almost there." He said and I frowned before everyone laughed. We finished our food before we headed back home. Everyone else went in except for me, Alexis, and Cam.

"Ready for your present?" Cam asked smirking and we looked at each other nervously.

"We guess" Alexis said. We walked through the doors and out popped at least 200 heads yelling surprise.

Alexis and I jumped back before laughing and hugging people. After a while me and Cam were talking in the kitchen.

"So how'd you manage to do all of this?" I asked him, unsure of his answer.

"I called everyone I knew and everyone you and Alexis knew." He said and I laughed.

"Thanks for everything Cam." I said leaning against the counter.

"No problem. I've known you since what? Since you were in the fourth grade and I was in sixth?" He questioned and I nodded.

"Amazing memory" I smiled at him and he laughed.

"You look really beautiful, Calum." He told me and my cheeks began to burn.

"Thanks Cam." I smiled looking at my shoes.

"Can I tell you something?" He asked and I nodded.

"I think I might like you." He told me and my stomach filled with butterflies.

"I like you too, Cam."

"No, as in more than a friend." He said and I looked up.

"What?" I asked, shocked.

"I've liked you ever since you started 9th grade. Thats what, 3 years? Calum, I think I love you." He told me, looking into my eyes at all times. He grabbed my chin and slowly leaned in before landing his soft lips on mine. At first I was stiff, but then moved with his lips in sinc. I've liked Cameron for 8 years, and he likes me back? You don't understand how I feel right now.
