Chapter Twenty

Calum's POV

  I was on the verge of sleeping, but the Lexi is having this party down stairs and it's kinda hard to sleep with dub-step playing in the back ground. I groaned as I looked at my clock, 12:00 midnight, yes it's summer, but I'm the one who goes to sleep early. I got up and walked downstairs. There where so many people, I saw Matt, Nash, Taylor, Shawn, Cameron, and Brent. Yes Brent Rivera. I started looking for Lexi when I tripped and fell on to someone. I looked up and saw Nash.

  "Hey shortstop." He smiled and I laughed, he hasn't called me that in years.

  "Hey, have you seen Lexi?" I yelled over the incredibly loud music.

  "Yea, she's with Taylor, I think." He said and I thanked him, I made my way over to where I last saw Taylor. The kitchen. When I walked in there I saw Brent and this guy from our school named, Nathan and Nathan looked drunk. 

  "Hey pretty tang" Nathan slurred his words.

  "Hey, have either of you guys seen Lexi?" I asked, Brent shook his head.

  "No, but I wanna see you." Nathan said, slinging his arm around my shoulder as he started kissing me up my neck.

  "Nathan, let me go!" I shrieked as I tried pushing him away, but he was to strong. I fought as hard as I could, when I heard my named being called and felt Nathan let go of me. I opened my eyes to see Cameron, beating the crap out of Nathan. I started to cry. I felt myself being picked up and carried to my room. I didn't really care who it was, I just wanted to get out of there. The person laid me down on my bed and started talking to me.

  "Calum, Calum look at me, it's going to be okay." It was Taylor, I knew his voice anywhere. We both heard running up the stairs and Cameron burst into my room.

  "Calum, are you okay?" He asked, walking over to me, making sure I didn't have any bruises or anything. 

  "I-I'm fine." I managed to choke out of my mouth. Cameron told Taylor to leave and sat on my bed with me. He wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me onto his lap.

  "I'm sorry Calum, I just didn't want to see you get hurt, you're my girlfriend, so I kinda had the right to do that." He said and I giggled.

  "I want to protect you, the only two girls I never want to see get hurt are you and Lexi. Mostly you, but don't tell her I said that." He mumbled the last part and I busted out laughing.

  "I love you, Calum. I really do." He said. 

  "I love you too Cameron." I smiled, putting my lips on his warm, soft lips. This was our first real kiss and our first 'I love you's' and I wouldn't trade this moment for anything else.

  -Morning-

 I woke up with Cameron's arms wrapped around me. I smiled as I remembered last night. I made my way out of Cameron's grasp and went to the bathroom to do my business. I went downstairs and the whole place was trashed. One thing is for sure, I am not cleaning this mess up. Lexi's party, Lexi's problem. I walked in the kitchen and started making some pancakes. Lexi soon came in as I flipped the last pancake on a plate.

  "Hey, I heard what happend last night, are you okay?" She asked sitting on the stool.

  "Yea, you want some pancakes?" I asked and she got the biggest grin on her face.

  "What?" I asked.

  "Crazy pancake day?" She asked and I smiled. When we were little kids we had crazy pancake days and what we did was find anything that was sweet and put it on the pancakes.

  "Duh!" I exclaimed as we dug through all the cabnets, the fridge, and freezer. We ended up having whipped cream, m&m's, chocolate syrup, maple syrup, cherries, reeses bites, chocolate chips, gummy bears, sour patch kids, and blueberries. We sat down in the living room and watched our favorite child hood show ever and if you didn't like this show you were obviously on drugs. SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS.

  "This is amazing, we rarely hang out any more ever since you started dating Cameron." Lexi said with a mouth full of pancake. I instantly felt bad, I was kinda shutting her out. I have to make it up to her. All of a sudden, my phone vibrates. It's Nash.

  "Hello?" I answered.

  "Hey, Calum?" He asked.

  "Yea, this is my phone, what's up?" I asked.

  "I need your help." He said.

  "With what?" I asked getting annoyed, this boy needs to get to the point.

  "There is this girl, and I want to get to know her, but I don't know how to aproach her." He said.

  "Just ask her to go to starbucks with you, trust me, she'll say yes." I said and he laughed.

  "Thanks Calum, bye." He said and hung up. I wonder who this mistery girl is, guess we will find out.

Two updates in a day, I think you guys deserved it. So, I'm sorry if i'm bugging you about this, but should I start a Shawn Mendes story? Or nah? Leave it down below. But seriously 10k reads, I need to throw a party. Everyone is invited! (Not really throwing a party lol) anyways, this chapter is longer, but kinda sucky im sorry im trying dont kill me!! I am going to start doing a question of the day so here is y'alls question.
