Everyone's smiles melted off their faces. I couldn't see what they did but I guessed it wasn't on the top ten list of good things that happened at camp. I looked above me and saw silver light. A bow and arrows with a moon behind it and a pawprint on the moon. "Not even possible!" I could hear Annabeth gasp. Chiron's voice followed: "Behold, Ebony DiAngelo, daugher of Artimis, goddess of the hunt." That is when it hit me. The nemean lion wouldn't dare attack me, the furies saying I shouldn't be born, I was the child of a broken oath, and now my life was on the line. Great, I was always the reject, let's not further it shall we? I always had a mother but she wasn't there for me. How is this even possible? I could Xander's eyes full of suprise. I looked away, emberassed beyond belief. That is when I saw him again, the boy I had seen at the Lotus Casino. His name came back to me faster than a bullet hitting my head. "Nico." He came up to me with a different girl next to him, she had curly brown hair and was built to be a calvary officer. "Ebony?" Nico looked at me and came running and hugged me. "Oh my gods I missed you." He kept saying. He was so much taller than me but I can still remember the same little boy that had suffered with me in the casino all those years. He knew what I went through. We had the same step-dad. I was born into their family by our mother but Artimis had put me into her so I would be birthed by a mortal mother so Zeus would not know of her broken oath. (Artimis had told me later on.) I was a Di'Angelo and I would always be. Nico pulled me away for a moment then turned to the other girl. "Hazel, this is Ebony Di'Angelo, my half-sister, well kinda." He knew he had some explaining to do because he understood it. "Ebony, this is Hazel. Her father was Pluto, the Roman aspect of my father Hades. I don't know how we had the same mother along with Bianca but we did, somehow artimis planned this and now look where it put us." "Nico, where is Bianca?" I asked, I hadn't seen a sign of her. I saw tears well up in his eyes and Annabeth and Percy put their heads down. "May I speak with you privately?" He asked me and lead me from the pavilion. All eyes were on us, the Di'Angelo's that were somehow related but weren't at the same time.
