This weekend's the last weekend before school starts, so I figured, why not throw a party?? "Yo, mom!" I yelled from my room. "Yeah Valerie?" says my mom from downstairs. "Can I throw a party this weekend while you & dad are out of town?" I asked. "Yeah, sure sweetie." my mom responded. I was a good kid, so I wasn't surprised when she said yes. Well, that she knows of at least. Plus, I have cool parents so. I texted all my friends and told them I'd be throwing a party this weekend and told them to invite other ppl from school.
*Skip to this weekend*
The party doesn't start for another 2 hours and my bestfriend Jaxon's here helping me get everything ready. "Can't wait for the first lit party of junior year!" said Jaxon. "Yeah, yeah less talking, more working." I said. "Damn girl, look who's got an attitude, that attitude ain't gonna find you no man tonight." Jaxon said. "Most of the guys at our school are either ugly or too shy to talk to me so what would it matter?" I said. "True, btw there's a new kid in town, his name's Zach Herron and from what I've heard he is fine!" Jaxon said. "Cool." I said. "You wanna see a pic of him? I have his Instagram and damn he is fine." Jaxon said as I started laughing. "Sure." I said as I laughed.

I have to admit, he's hot. "Hot right?" said Jaxon. "Yeah, if you call having your mouth open hot." I said as I giggled. "Shut up Valerie, you think he's hot, i know you do." Jaxon said. "So what if I do? It's not like I'm gonna date him or anything." I said. "Good, that gives me a chance." Jaxon said as we both laughed.
*30 mins later*
"Finally we're done getting everything ready, now all there's left for me to do is get ready, wanna help?" I said. "Duhhhh, don't worry I'll do your make up." Jaxon said. I should probably mention that Jaxon's insanely good at doing makeup, we both love James Charles lol. "Damnnnnnn how are you better than me at this?" I asked. "Bc I'm an artist duhhh honey." said Jaxon. Now would probably be a good time to mention that Jaxon's gay, if you couldn't already tell. "Ok, now get out I gotta change. *Jaxon leaves* I'm finally done getting ready, the house is ready, now all we need is the people. "Damn girl you look hot as hell." Jaxon says. "Hot enough to turn you straight?" I asked as we both laughed. "Oh honey no." Jaxon & I both laughed.
*A couple hours later*
The party started a couple hours ago and holy shit the party got good fast, and the good. Everyone was either dancing or drinking cuz you us rebellious teens. I was dancing around a lot of my friends and then I looked across the room, and my eyes met with that guy Jaxon was talking about, I forgot his name, I think it was Zach? Not sure, a lot happened the past couple hours. When i saw him, it was no surprise he was surrounded by a lot of girls, I mean damn, he's fine. I tried not to make it obvious that I was staring at him, but as soon as I glanced at him, he sent me a smirk, so I sent him a smile. "He's checking you out." Jaxon said as we were both dancing. "What? No he's not." I said. "He definitely is, and I saw that smirk he gave you and that smile you gave him, I'm not blind." Jaxon said. "Whatever." I said as we both laughed.
