Right before they leave for the Christmas holidays, Frank totally sneaks one of Gerard's shirts. Something from his laundry hamper. He shoves it into his backpack when Gerard is in the shower and he gets a really sick thrill because he KNOWS he'd get in a lot of trouble if Gerard found out. And after they part (a really, really long kiss by the back door, which is the way Frank usually leaves, right, because Gerard's still pretty paranoid about people seeing Frank walk out of his front door, but it's a nice, looooong kiss and Gerard pulls at his belt loops a little and Frank can't help but smile) he goes home and just curls up with the shirt pressed to his face and thinks about Gerard. The whole two and a half-ish weeks they are parted he sleeps with it in his bed or with it on and he won't wash it because he doesn't want the smell of Gerard to dissipate.

And of course Gerard totally finds out (it's one of his favorite shirts, okay, and he knows if he asks Frank Frank won't lie to him) and he totally has to punish Frank! And he KNOWS Frank wanted to be caught because he wouldn't have done it otherwise. Bad Frank. >:( But secretly inside Gerard is like :D!. So he spanks Frank, since it's a punishment they both like, but then later he makes Frank wear the shirt while they have sex so it'll smell like ~THEM and sexytimes and then he can REALLY think of it. The Sunday night before school is ready to start up again after the holidays (which is a few days after Gerard found out about the shirt and how Frank obviously wanted something of Gerard's to keep with him when Gerard was not actually there with him) Gerard basically sucks a big ol' hickey on the side of Frank's neck, where he can't hide it, and he has to walk around school the next day with it where everyone can see. And he tells Frank that if anybody asks about it he can't admit to who did it or ANYTHING.

So then Frank shows back up at school with the giant hickey and everyone's all "whoooaaaa who did that?? Were you getting busy over break??" And Frank's just completely silent on the matter, doesn't say anything. Just smiles and says, "don't worry about it" or something equally vague. The hardest part is lying to Ray and Bob (he's been doing that so much lately, he feels really bad but it can't be helped, he doesn't think they'd understand about the way he is, and he knows they wouldn't understand about Mr. Way).
