Gross.
This was just plain gross.
Plus in all likelihood it would end badly with or without Miku doing a thing to encourage it. Which she wouldn't for her own safety. And she really didn't want to anyway.
This world is wrong. Someone said that a while ago. Someone that probably suffered more than even her. She in no way felt she was either unique or worse off than anyone else no matter how much her hormones took a liking to such a shitty loudmouthed potential sex partner.
Only not. She was not going there. Ew, like she needed that kind of trouble.
"Why are you over here on your free period?" The light-haired boy that asked this looked at her suspiciously from over his book.
"In the library?" Miku reflected thinking it rather rude as if to suggest she didn't read or something.
"Nah," he smirked. "I mean with me, you elite Class A delinquent. Don't you have better friends now?"
"Neito, since when have I ever done the sensible thing?" She had no desire to tell this demon that she was hiding from a disgusting newfound attraction to a bad boy with no charm to speak of that paid her no attention at all as he was really super self-involved.
Not that she wanted him to.
Onisama's goodwill only went so far.
It couldn't be like when they were kids when he thought he had to put up with her-he really didn't.
"Guess not you talk to me." Monona Neito smiled but unlike others she bore no overwhelming urge to punch him.
Aside from Tsukime he was her only real friend.
She had learned early on not to trust anyone that seemed too friendly even before she started living with her dad assuming most other humans just wanted to hurt her even if Onisama had it worse.----
Shouto walked slow since school was a nightmare infested with kids that smiled in a fake way and talked behind his back; it would be worse now that Saya was with him.
She sighed as she sat on a guard rail to take a break on the way to the elementary school three blocks away.
"Onisama can go on ahead if he wants," she said fire periodically erupting off her right side leaving a curly tendril of smoke rising above her head in the shape of a horn.
That shitty old man would punt him off the Sky Tree if he left her by herself!
"Save your breath, stupid imouto." he ordered not really blaming her or anything as far as he could see almost being crushed to death trumped casual abuse.
A couple minutes later they resumed the long short walk to school where things were the same for him but people were rude to her for whatever reason they did anything but Saya didn't seem to care. In fact, she didn't care better than anyone he had ever seen. It was weirdly fun to watch kids try to shame her only to have her just look through them.
He was still glad to leave at the end of the day.
"You don't care at all what anyone says, do you?" They now made an even slower journey back home. Not that there was any rush.
"Words only hurt if you let them,"she said and gave him a big crazy smile.
"Believe it!" she added then snorted when he just stared back not knowing what she was talking about.
"Onisama doesn't read manga, eh?"
"Not really." What was this weird little kid even talking about...?
Saya sniffled like she wanted to laugh but thought she had to hold it in,but her expression suddenly changed as she went white looking past him.
A woman he didn't know smiled sadly,"Sayane..." she whispered tearfully.
"S-stay away!" His sister almost fell down trying to put distance between that woman and herself.
"Saya, Mama was sick before but now she's better. You can come home..." the woman said pleading with every fiber of her being for that small scared girl to believe her walking forward slowly as she spoke.
"No!" The ground between them split as Saya screamed the whites in her eyes turning black. She now had two horns these made of fire translating as a hazard symbol like some poisonous animal.
"I think you should go back for now." Shouto informed the woman taking his sister's trembling hand.
"Come on, Saya."
"Don't call me that. I don't like it. I never liked it! D-do you know what a "saya" is?! It's a sheath. You're saying I'm empty, that something goes inside. What exactly?!" She was beyond hysterical by then and not making a lot of sense.
"Er,then...come on,ngh...Miku. Let's go home." It was a half-ass attempt but she accepted it.
Leaving a lonely looking woman by a chasm in the sidewalk Shouto took his imouto home.Took a while to get into it enough to finish it even if it's short. There's only one chapter of background left and it's going to focus more on Miku and her initially weird relationship with Kirishima.
Also I may have misspelled Endeavor's name but I don't like him and don t really care. It probably will be correct in later chapters. Maybe.
You might have noticed Miku likes to make geeky references to quotes in manga, like the "Believe it!" one. I realize in the original Naruto he said something else but this I think is the more easily recognized phrase. I was still glad when he stopped saying it😑.
Well I'm done abusing my own pet peeve. Until we meet again. Plus Ultra
Don't mind the mistakes I was too lazy to edit😏
