Shownu's Dream Girl (Monsta X fanfic)

Chapter 7

After all the songs were performed, everyone was buzzing from excitement as they were hyped up from the boys tremendous skills and beautiful voices. Mya's favourite song so far was tropical night, it was stuck on replay in her mind as she went to find her seat at the event. There was a seating plan but she was invited last night so she didn't know where she was placed. She picked up a canape off a plate as she walked by a waiter, enjoying the taste of the smoked salmon making her close her eyes at the impeccable taste but it caused her to jump up in fright once she opened her eyes and found someone standing right in front of her. He smiled at her calmly and said "Hi, I'm Kihyun just incase you forgot. I'm here to show you where you're sitting since I'm sure Shownu forgot tell you. Come follow me." He turned after Mya smiled at him and started walking beside her. Mya was the same height as him, he had nice ash blonde hair and his skin was probably better than hers with how flawless it looked. He probably didn't even need any foundation if he was wearing any. He had some muscles hidden under his jacket, it looked strained against his biceps but not as evident as Shownu or Wonho. 

He escorted her to the front of the venue and gave her small warm smiles as if he was trying to encourage her but for what, she didn't know. They finally arrived at the table and Kihyun pulled out a chair for her right beside Shownu who was seated to her right and Wonho was seated to her left with his bright red hair standing out. She took a seat quickly as she was taking in her surroundings, all the members were seated on this table and the one beside it.  Shownu's mum and a younger boy were on the table with them along with Hyungwon. Kihyun, IM, Jooheon and Minhyuk were sitting on the other table with some other people she was sure was family. She gave everyone a smile as she looked around and Shownu leaned in whispering "relax, I know you might feel shy but everyone is welcoming here so don't worry and enjoy yourself. How did you like the performance?" Mya's heart softened at his attempt to console her even though she didn't show her nervousness so obviously. She replied in a soft whisper "thank you for making me feel better, I didn't want you to realise I was nervous. Your performance was amazing, it was better than I expected." She ended with a smile, noticing how close they were as they were whispering and noticed Shownu's eyes quickly flicker from her eyes to her lips making her breathe catch in her throat. 

"Hey you two lovebirds, foods served c'mon let's dig in" said Hyungwon loudly with a lazy smile on his face making them jump apart and sit straight. Shownu's mum gave a warm chuckle before taking Shownu's plate and filling it up with food. Mya filled up some of her plate with food, she wasn't that hungry so she picked up some bimbimbap and got some rice with salad. 

"Tsk Tsk" she heard, making her look at Shownu's mum standing above her. She felt surprised not realising she was behind her, she must have showed how puzzled she looked because Shownu's mum picked up her plate. 

"You're still a growing girl, you need to eat a lot of food and be healthy especially if you want to keep up with my son. He loves to eat" she ended with another chuckle making Mya laugh along feeling like she was being mothered but in a loving way. She sat back while watching Shownu's mum fill her plate with all the food around them wondering how she would eat all of it but noticed Hyungwon stuffing his face with food like it was his last meal and Wonho had two bowls of ramen in front of him looking content. Shownu was sitting beside her looking immersed with his food, he only had eyes for his plate in front of him and didn't even lift his head for 2 minutes straight as Mya watched him eat. They all seemed to enjoy eating but after dancing those hard routines, she would probably be starving with no energy left. 

'They must have a lot of stamina' she thought and imagined Shownu showing those dance skills in front of her in a private room while she sat on a chair in front of him and he moved closer to her using his smooth moves. He rolled his shoulders and then his arms caged her deep into her seat as he dominated her space before he moved lower till they were face to face, both breathing slightly heavier and the space between the two of them getting smaller and smaller. She felt a hand on her arm and a voice saying her name making her choke slightly as she realised she was daydreaming while she was sat in front of everyone. 

Wonho and Hyungwon were looking at her with a knowing look and giggling like little girls while whispering to another and giving knowing looks making her blush. Shownu commented "You look a little flushed and started breathing heavily with a far away look in your eyes. Are you okay?" He asked softly, concern evident in his voice. She just nodded and said she needed some fresh air, she got up after locating the balcony and quickly headed outside, feeling relieved when she felt the gust of fresh air hit her. She leaned against the railing looking out at the lit up city underneath her feeling herself relax and enjoyed the beautiful view. 

She heard the door open and shut behind her, she knew who it was even before she saw him settle beside her leaning those muscular tanned arms on the railing too. She looked up at Shownu's handsome face and saw him looking out at the view too. "I love looking out at the city at night after a hard days work to appreciate what I have and reflect on everything" he said before turning his gaze to her. "I'm glad I can watch this view with you right now even if you ran out after thinking of me the way you did" he added with a cheeky smile. 

"Wait, what?" she said loudly feeling the blush rise to her cheeks again. "How did you know what  was thinking about? I wasn't thinking about anything like that" she said and stuck her tongue out trying to stop her hands from raising and hiding her face out of embarrassment. 

"Oh really?" he questioned making his eyebrows raise challenging her, "I didn't realise your reaction at first but Wonho and Hyungwon wouldn't stop giggling so I got it out of them, they're more experienced when it comes to this stuff but I know I'm sexy so I'm proud I made you starry eyed like that" he finished off smirking. 

"Oh my god, this can't get anymore embarrassing" She groaned, finally covering her face with her hands wishing she could disappear. She felt Shownu's fingers grab hers softly moving them away from her face slowly with an intense look on his face making her catch her breathe again. She felt like she'd stop breathing altogether if she spent more time around him, he was too much to handle. 

"Look Mya, I'm happy you find me attractive because I really like you. I haven't spent much time with you but with my busy schedule I hardly get to meet people, especially normal people who are genuine and I can tell you're genuine. You're beautiful and I just wanted to tell you that" he finished off by moving his hands to her face, cupping her cheeks softly before moving in till they were a few centimetres apart. "And I've been waiting all night to do this," he moved in swiftly for a kiss and the moment his lips touched her, she felt herself shudder and fall against him melting into his strong warm arms as his soft lips moved against hers coaxing her to part her lips with his tongue. She gave in and felt him explore her mouth gently, her hands moved up into his hair pulling him closer and she felt his arms move down her neck sensually till they reached her waist pulling her in even closer until they moved apart breathing heavily settled together in a comfortable embrace. She looked up at him to find him gazing at her with a soft smile making his eyes squint into a beautiful smile too. She caught a movement behind his shoulder and tapped him so they could turn around to find Minhyuk, Jooheon, IM and Wonho stuck to the glass wall with their faces leaning right against it watching them and didn't even feel embarrassed once they realised they were caught and started raising their arms in cheers hooting and giving them a thumbs up making Shownu groan. "Urgh this is what I have to live with" he groaned out but was smiling, the boys finally smiled at Mya and gave her a thumbs up before leaving and giving them privacy. 

"It's okay, your group are really cute. You all are like family and just to confirm, I really like you too. That kiss was amazing" she said with a smile so bright that Shownu looked mesmerised. He shook his head slightly and replied cockily, "thats good then, because I want to take you out sometime this week. A proper dinner date with only us two getting to know each other, how does that sound?" he asked looking at her hopefully. She liked how she could read him so quickly after knowing him for a short time. "That sounds great" she said softly before reaching up on her heels to give him another quick kiss. They soon went back into the venue holding hands and the night passed quickly after that with everyone enjoying it to the fullest and lots of secret smiles being passed around the room.
