Chapter 2

POV switch - Mya

She felt his big rough hands take hold of hers.

"Hi, I'm Shownu" said the handsome teacher in a voice that nearly made her swoon on the spot but she held herself still. She managed to smile, scared that her hand was going to sweat in his due to her nervousness and managed to introduce herself.

"Hi again there, I'm Mya. Kangwoo's aunty but he seems to be attached to you." She looked down to her beloved nephew who she had put down and was now clinging on to Shownu's leg trying to get him to lift into his arms. Shownu looked down at that moment and seemed surprised to see Kangwoo's small arms around his leg like he wasn't thinking straight and lifted him up into his strong arms, making his muscles strain against his sweater.

'Get yourself together' Mya told herself.

She hadn't felt like this before, she was sure she had seen this flawless man before but she was not sure where. She picked Kangwoo up from day care plenty of times during the past month but never saw this teacher, she was sure she'd recognise him if she had.

'If he works here then I should get my sister to let me drop Kangwoo and pick him up everyday' her mind said but she swatted that thought away.

Elli, who was one of Kangwoo's friends ran up to Shownu waving bye before she went to her mum to leave. Shownu's face brightened and a smile spread across his handsome face at the little girl. Mya felt her heart somersault at the sight.

"You seem really popular with the kids" Mya stated laughing, "Do you work here?" She asked.

She had to find out more about him even though she knew it was wiser to walk away and not fantasize about a hot teacher. Mya saw Shownu glance around the room and that's when she noticed the cameras and a group of other good looking guys in the corner looking at them snickering behind their hands. Shownu saw them too and looked embarrassed raising his long muscular arms to rub his neck, probably feeling awkward but looking so handsome in reality. 'He probably doesn't even realise how good he looks right now' she thought.

"Um, we're here for a tv show. Me and my group, we're Monsta X. I don't think you've heard of us" he added modestly. For his height and build, he seemed like a confident person but she realised he was quiet and modest. Mya was proud at her skill of being able to read people's body language.

"Let me go introduce my team. I'm the leader by the way" he added with a smirk, sounding more confident and a little bit cocky.

He put Kangwoo down and let him run off to join his friends, it was probably better for him than watching them talk. Shownu led her over to the other guys and introduced them.

"The guy in the corner with the dimples is our rapper Jooheon. The guy beside him is our youngest and second rapper IM. Beside him is our vocal team in order; Wonho, Kihyun, Minhyuk and Hyungwon." He finished off smiling and sounding proud of his group while each guy gave a little bow to her to show a sign of respect.

She had one thought bugging her mind, "and what about you? Are you a singer or a rapper?" She asked biting her lip without realising.
