Shownu's Dream Girl (Monsta X fanfic)

Chapter 3

Hey! This is monsta x's invite to an intimate evening with family and friends. Dinner commences at 6pm and we will host a little show for our fans at 9pm. Curfew is at 11pm since us boys need to rest for training the next day. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow :)

Mya received this text message just when she was getting ready for bed, it all seemed like a dream. She was invited to have dinner with a boyband, one she didn't know but she would definitely search them up on YouTube to see what she was getting up to IF she went. Her eyes followed each word slowly to make sure she wasn't imagining the text she received and her eyes widened when she reached the end and her breath caught in her throat. Her phone buzzed loudly in her hands again startling her.

Sorry about that, it's Shownu. IM thinks he's funny but we'll see you tomorrow x *

Once again Mya was staring at the screen in shock, did Shownu just send her a kiss?! Now she was really dreaming, this was too bizarre to be true. She wasn't sure whether she should reply but first of all, she had to see who they were. She jumped on her bed, reaching for her laptop and opened YouTube. She searched Monsta X and they seemed to have a lot of songs, her eyes widened again when she saw the view count. The views were in the millions, 5 million, 10 million and even going up to 50 million. She started to feel light headed, they were more popular than she could ever imagine. Mya wasn't sure what video she should watch first but had a mini flashback to Shownu singing earlier and tried to remember the lyrics; not that they were hard to forget.She felt the flutters in her stomach again, hearing Shownu's husky voice in her mind 'I can be your hero, I can be your man.' She suddenly wanted to hear the whole song but didn't know the name so she searched the lyrics. She typed 'Monsta x I can be your hero I can be your man' and hit search feeling a little nervous even though she wasn't sure why. The first thing she saw on her screen was 'Hero special clip' and it had an astonishing amount of views so she clicked on it. An advertisement popped up making her groan with impatience. 'Be quick already' she thought. The music video started and she could see different angles being caught on the screen with the guys standing on a skyscraper and she gave a low whistle surprised at their confidence. The scene already looked cool and she sensed that she'd become a fan after this song. A guy with red hair popped hair, 'that must be Jooheon' she thought. The others started dancing and the next thing she saw was Shownu dancing in a sleeveless top. The rest were wearing long sleeves except Shownu and Wonho she noticed. 'They probably are the muscular visuals of the group' she thought 'and damn right they should be with those arms.' 

Straight after she thought that, all the guys lifted their shirts slowly while dancing but her eyes were trained on Shownu's body, slowly revealing his happy trail and lean body. She quickly shut her laptop without realising what she did. Her heart was beating faster and she was imagining Shownu lifting off the rest of his top in her mind which was continuing the music video in her own special way. Her mind was wondering to places that it should not have been but after watching that video, even just a part of it, she wanted to go to the dinner party tomorrow. She felt drawn to the group, especially the leader and she wouldn't get such a rare chance again. Maybe it was fate. She started typing, unsure of what to say:

* Hi, it's Mya :) Thanks for the invite, I'm very grateful. I'll be there tomorrow :) *

She wasn't sure whether she should add a kiss at the end so she put a smile instead, not sure who'd receive the message but she hit send and flopped back on her bed tossing her phone on the side, not wanting to see if she got a reply. Tiredness hit her all of a sudden and she remembered it was nearly midnight and that she should rest. She got in bed and cuddled up to her pillow under her duvet, just about to fall asleep when she heard her phone buzz again and while her mind contemplated whether she should check it or go to sleep, her traitorous hand was already reaching for the phone. She felt the brightness glare against the dark trying to read the message

Sounds good :) glad we met today, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

He sent another kiss, so the first one wasn't accidental. Her phone buzzed again and she laughed at the text.

She started writing a reply, just to say goodnight and not leave the guys hanging, not after making her smile and laugh.

She typed her message and hit send before realising she added kisses at the end of the message and swore out loud when she noticed. 'Oh well' she thought 'its done now plus he sent kisses first' she reasoned with herself and with some peace of mind left she fell asleep.
