Chapter 6

Mya's POV

All that was running through Mya's head was "OMG OMG OMG" when Shownu grabbed her arm and started escorting her around the room introducing her to everyone. She felt special getting the attention from people, but mainly from Shownu himself. He had an aura of power around him, quiet confidence that spoke for himself and the way he moved. OH GOD. He reminded her of Taemin from Shinee, or Kai from Exo. They were two of the hottest kpop dancers she knew but Shownu had this thing about his walk, he walked around and was so tall but light on his feet at the same time. He had the smooth lightless walk of a dancer, like he was floating around but obviously that wasn't possible. His arms were on show and to die for, her hands were wrapped around his bicep which felt so full and smooth her hands. They were slightly veiny under the nice golden tan he had, she wanted to caress her hands up and down from his fingers, over his hands, feeling his wrist up his arms to those broad sexy shoulders of his. She shook herself mentally and allowed herself to pay attention to the people she was being introduced to at that moment. She realised that she was getting mixed looks, some chicks would look at her with interest and curiousity but some would glance at her with a haughty, jealous filled look. She didn't deserve those jealous filled look, she was just another girl on the arms of an international star.

She was shaken back to reality when Shownu cleared his throat and looked at her then back to the older woman infront of them looking at them quizzically. She felt embarrassed that she had zoned out and mumbled an apology, Shownu just laughed aand told the woman "she was feeling nervous." He turned to Mya and introduced the two women to each other. "Mom, this is Mya. Mya, this is my beautiful mom, she's the most important person to me in the world."

Mya smiled at his mom, she wanted to feel an awkward tension around her since she just met this guy's mom but she only received warmth and radiating smiles from the pair. She put her hand out to shake Shownu's moms hand but was instantly pulled into a hug instead by the short woman which was surprising since Shownu was a giant. "Now now dear, don't be silly and give me a handshake. Shownu had never introduced me to a girl before, you're the first in his 26 years of age surprisingly." She let go of Mya chuckling and Mya turned to Shownu feeling a blush starting to bloom of her cheeks but her blush was nothing compared to Shownu. Shownu's mom reached under Mya's chin and pulled her face up slightly saying "don't be shy girl, anyone Shownu introduces is family automatically. He's a very private person so I judge my son's judgement." Mya felt like she was already her second mother, and replied "thank you, you're so sweet and Shownu seems like a really sweet guy so I'm glad I met him." Mya turned to Shownu to give him a happy genuine smile but already caught him staring her with a weird look in his eyes but it was good weird and once he realised she caught him staring he gave her a small smile.

"Hey Shownu!" Mya heard someone shout and saw someone running towards him with green hair. Shownu and his mom turned around, and Shownu's mom smiled the brightest she had seen yet and moved forward to hug him. "Jooheon you cutie, how are you? look at your dimples popping out at how happy you are to see me" she added at the end cheekily. Jooheon gave her a short but warm hug, "Hello aunty, it's good to see you again after so long. I'm happy you're healthy and well hence my dimples showing more. So what's happening here?" Jooheon moved back and looked from one person to another, his facial expression shifting from happy to confused to amused. "Oh I see what's happening here, sorry to break it up but we need to go perform now." With that he grabbed Shownu's hand, gave a quick respectful nod to both women and left. The lights turned off a minute later and the room became dead silent and the music filled the room.

The room was completely dark as the audience listened silently, some were startled when the lights came on and immediately started cheering once the boys started to dance and sing along.

Mya realised how talented the group were, their voices giving her the shivers. Her beat almost stopped beating once Shownu caught her eye at the end of that line.

Once the performance was over, Mya and the rest of the crowd started cheering like crazy. The boys all smiled and bowed then went into the next song. Mya was overwhelmed, she was blessed to be at that party witnessing the performances and meeting a whole network of people she usually wouldn't have the chance to meet. She smiled as the boys performed and looked forward to the rest of the night.
