(2 months later)I was driving to Kori's after stopping at Panera to get her some soup. The spring time was coming in and poor baby caught a cold. Me and Kori have been talking every day and spent almost every other day with each other. She was slowly becoming my best friend and day by day she was slowly easing her way into my heart. I was connecting with her on a level that I never connected with anyone before.
I pulled up at Kori's and put my truck in park. As I undid my seat belt my phone chimed. I looked at it and smiled.
Ray- Hey Boo.
Dallas-Wass up girl?
Ray- Nothing I was just thinking of you. Can you come over later?
Dallas- Sure. Around 6 good?
Ray- Perfect. See you then. 😘I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed Kori's soup. Me and Rayven actually have been seeing each other frequently since our first date. I've told her a little bit about Kori but not everything. And Kori doesn't know anything about Rayven. Im stuck between two beautiful women. Rayven is down to earth, chill and can cook her ass off. She always keeps our conversations interesting and I find myself wanting to talk to her more and more. But There is something in Rayven that is missing and I dont see it in her. But I see it in Kori. Everything about her just makes me want to glued to her side. I just cant put my finger on what it is about both these women. And I'm not even sleeping with either one of them.
I walked up the steps and knocked on the door. Once she opened it, I felt sorry for her. She looked drained, tired and sick. Her hair was in a high messy bun and she had on baggy sweatpants with a baggy tshirt. Despite her appearance, she still made a tingle feeling go through my stomach. She sniffed her nose and let me in.
Dallas- Awe poor baby. Lil baby dont feel good.
Kori- Oh shut up Dallas. Gimme my damn soup.I heard a slight attitude in her voice. She had me messed up.
Dallas- Who you think you talking to?
Kori- you fool.
Dallas- Awe hell nah. I'll take this soup home and eat it. Stop playing with me Kori. She sighed a little bit and looked at me.
Kori- Im sorry. I get cranky when im sick.
Dallas- You know I didnt have to bring you anything.
Kori- I know but you did now can I have it?She tried to reach for the bag but I swiftly moved it out away.
Dallas- Tisk tisk tisk. You gatta ask nicer then that.
Kori(whining)-Dallas!
Dallas- Come On before it gets cold. She made a mug on her face before quickly changing it to a sweet puppy dog face. She looked deeply in my eyes and I swear i just wanted to kiss her. Despite her being sick.
Kori- Im sorry for giving you attitude Dallas. Can I please have my soup?
She batted her eyes and pouted out her lip. I let out a chuckle and handed her the bag. She snatched it from me and turned away.
Kori- Fucking thought so.
I slapped her on the ass preparing to dodge her fist right after it. But she didn't try to hit me she just looked back at me ,smirked and kept walking to the kitchen. It surprised the hell out of me. Normally we would of been fighting. I followed her to the kitchen and sat down at the table across from her.
Dallas- Somebody has to get better before their birthday next week.
Kori- Ugh! I know. I hate catching spring colds. I always catch one close to my birthday.
Dallas- So what you wanna do?
Kori- Honestly I Just Wanna Go To The Cheesecake Factory to eat and chill at home.I scrunch my face up.
Dallas- What kind of birthday is that? Your turning 23. Jordan year baby. You gatta celebrate some how.
Kori- I don't know who's more annoying. You, Fox or Keith.
