DAYS PASSED AND CASPER hasn't seen Jodie for quite a while but he has been working on her car, he spent most of his nights on it and it's very difficult because all the parts were just old. He has to go in replace somethings but it's gonna take some time. He still needed to find a new muffler for it which would be coming in next week. Casper sighed as he wiped the sweat beading from his forehead and he slipped off his dirty white shirt, he wiped, then dabbed himself with his shirt. He hears a woman clear her throat and he swished around fast thinking it was Jodie but instead his eyes meet a blonde woman and she wore a sundress with some sandals.
Very beautiful but off looking woman, her hair was practically platinum and she had this tanned skin also blotchy at some areas. Her eyes were a crystal blue and her lips were plump but were coated with pink lipstick. Casper looked her up and down, trying so hard to not scrunch up his face. She smiled at him flirtatiously as she walked closer to him. "Hi, I need help, something is wrong with my car, it keeps shutting off or it would be on but won't run very long." The woman says and she bites her lip as she looked him up and down, he puts back on his shirt because he didn't feel comfortable being around this woman even though he just met her. Casper was well on reading people.
"Alright, I'll take a look." He says and he walked past her, she awkwardly followed behind him and she followed him to her car which was a Jeep Wrangler. "How long you owned this car?" He asked and he opened the door, he looked at her and she handed him the keys but when she did, her skinny fingers ran across his palm sensually and he took the keys with sigh. "Not long." She answered. He started up the car and fired it up, but just as he didn't there was a problem with and she was just wasting his time. It immediately shuts off and Casper hummed. "This happens to a lot of cars. Something is blocking your fuel to reach the engine." Casper says and he lifted the hood of her car. He felt himself being watched as he tried to figure out what was going on. "My name is Stella by the way, what's yours?"
Casper didn't want to seem like a jackass but she didn't have much a brain also his nametag was on his shirt. "My name is literally shining in bold all over the place with the little cartoon me next to it." He answered, his eyes finally saw the issue, an acorn was stuck in the pipes and he suddenly popped it out. Stella looked at the sign and she nodded dumbfoundingly. "Right."
"Start your car up again." He instructed and Stella got into the car then she started it up, it went running for a second and Casper lets the hood back down. "There you go, it was an acorn that was causing you trouble. . It's pretty common in other parts of the car, don't understand how it got there but it's most likely a Squirrel." He says and Stella smiled as she pulled out her wallet. "Them damn squirrels... so how much?" She questioned him and Casper motions her to put her wallet away. "It's free and you have a good day." Casper said quickly, he wasn't the social type either or maybe just to her purposely and he walks past her to go back into his shop. "Wait!" Casper rolled his eyes and turned around, she ran towards him and she grinned. "Would you like to go to dinner?"
Casper couldn't help but think oh brother as he scratched the back of his neck. "Sorry but I'm not looking for anyone." He says except Jodie, he would go on a date with Jodie in a heartbeat. "Oh, well here's my number if you change your mind." She says giving him a piece of paper and she walked off, he watched and she added an extra sway in her hips making him look away but a strong breeze came and he let the wind blow his paper out of his hand, Casper knew God was telling him something.
Casper watched it fly off into the trees and then he went back on working on Jodie's truck, which was his number one priority.
Jodie.
