A couple of weeks later.

Casper couldn't sleep at all because he felt like time was being wasted with Jodie, Lana, and Sawyer. The twins slept in their bed and in fact, they slept with them for the entire week. They wanted to sleep with Casper because he was gonna leave this Sunday and they were gonna miss him so much. He laid in the bed, Jodie laid on his arm while Lana laid on his chest while Sawyer laid at the upper part of the bed, sleeping horizontally and his head against Casper's. He stroked Lana's hair and his other hand was in the grip of Jodie's arms.

He had to go to the bathroom so bad but he ruining his bladder by holding it for the past thirty minutes, he just laid there and enjoyed the moment even though he was in a strain. Jodie wipes her face as she gets up and she looks at the three, she smiles softly and she kisses Casper's head. "Good morning, I'm gonna make breakfast." Jodie, she whispers and Casper nodded as he laid still, Jodie got up and she walks into the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth. She leaves downstairs and Casper shakes Lana because he really had to go to the bathroom and he couldn't hold it any longer.

Lana groaned and her grip tightened. "Lana, I have to go to the bathroom." Casper whispered and she rolls off of him, Casper hurried and got up. He rushes to the bathroom and he uses the restroom, he washes his hands and he comes back out. Lana was sitting up and she was waiting for him to come back. Casper smiles softly as he picks her up then carries her out the room, he walks downstairs with her and he carried her on his hip. Jodie smiles at the two. "Hello, sleepy heads. "Jodie beamed and Casper sits down with Lana in his lap. "Are you gonna leave after breakfast?" Lana questioned him and Casper shakes his head, Lana laid the back of her head against his chest.

Jodie worried that the kids would get so upset when he leaves and she knew it wasn't gonna be so easy.

Sawyer comes downstairs, rubbing his eyes and yawning. He sits next to Casper and Lana. "Good Morning." Jodie smiles and Sawyer smiles softly. She went on cooking and she made pancakes and bacon. Jodie sits down with her family after getting her plates. She has a smile on her face even though she was very sad, she didn't want him to go as much as he didn't want to. They ate their breakfast in silence and Sawyer humming breaking the silence and Casper clears his throat. "How about we go to Austin and we can find something to do?" He suggested and Austin was a two-hour drive depending on which way they go but it's not a long drive but Houston and Dallas were farther from their town.

Jodie nodded and she thought about what they should do."Okay, we can go to the Skate Rink over there. I hope you know how to skate." Jodie teased at the end and Casper nodded. "I can actually, we didn't have a lot of stuff in Maine but we have ice skating rinks or roller rinks." Casper tells her and Sawyer sat his fork down. "I can't skate." He pouted and Lana reaches out to rub her brother's arm. "You can skate with me and I can show you." Lana assured her brother and he felt better knowing that his sister was gonna be next to him, he wasn't so scared anymore.

Jodie watched Lana take a piece of pancake and a piece of bacon then she held the fork to Casper. He takes it and Jodie couldn't help but melt on the inside. Jodie really admired the relationship they had with each other. Jodie always knew that Lana wanted her Dad to give her the love and attention but he didn't want any girls, he just wanted boys so he paid more attention to Sawyer even though he's a Momma's boy. Lana needed that father figure in his life and Casper was perfect for her because they liked the same things and Casper genuinely loved her and Sawyer. "Lana?" Casper whispered and Lana smiles as she leans closer to him to hear the secret. "I want you to go out in the back and lift up the big rock, there are worms under there and I want you to grab one then bring inside-"
