chapter 1 - moving day

Meredith: Lauren! John! are you done packing?
* Lauren and Johnny walk downstairs with bags *
Lauren: why do we have to move again?
Meredith: because your dad got a job offer in LA and he took it so we're moving
Lauren: but i don't want to move!
Johnny: Lauren will you please stop complaining and besides moving to LA will be great, there will be so many cute girls there
Lauren: you don't even care about leaving our hometown! you just care about the girls!
Johnny: yeah you better some cute friends
Lauren: mom! he can't keep dating every friend i make!
Meredith: can you two argue later, we have to get going, our flight leaves soon
Lauren: why can't i just stay here with Maddie and Darian
Meredith: Lauren Anne Orlando! get in the car now!
* Lauren groans and rolls her eyes and gets in the car *

flight attendant: flight 147 to LA leaves in 5 minutes
Meredith: that's our flight, we should get going
Lauren: goodbye Toronto
Johnny: hello cute girls
Lauren: you're such a player, when are you actually going to find a girl and stick with her
Johnny: probably never
Lauren: great so you'll be a h- a garden tool all your life
Johnny: afraid to say a bad word in front of mom
Lauren: no I'm just not wasting my breath calling you a bad word!
Johnny: chicken!
Lauren: player!
Dale: that's it! both of you! stop it now!
* Lauren and Johnny glare at each other *
Meredith: both of you apologize right now!
Johnny: I'm not apologizing to her for insulting me!
Lauren: and I'm not apologizing cause he ruins my friendships cause he's a player!
Dale: okay you know what maybe taking this job offer was a bad idea!
Meredith: wait so are you taking the job offer or not?
Dale: I'm...
