Kenzie: i was hugging Hayden because i was excited when he was going to help me try and get you away from the popular kids and Johnny saw us hugging and assumed that something was going on and got mad at me and he ran off and wasn't looking where he was going and the car...it...it...
* tears form in Kenzie's eyes *
Lauren: Kenzie you don't have to tell me the rest
* Johnny walks out the room in his crutches *
Kenzie: this is all my fault!
* Kenzie starts crying and Johnny rushes over with his crutches and hugs her *
Johnny: it's not your fault Kenzie
Kenzie: this never would've happened to you if it wasn't for me
Johnny: *sighs* guys i need to talk to Kenzie, we'll meet you in the car
Meredith: okay be careful
Johnny: we will
* Meredith and Lauren go to the car and Kenzie sits down and Johnny carefully sits down beside her *
// Lauren and Meredith //
Meredith: so Lauren what were Johnny and Kenzie talking about?
Lauren: *sighs* i made some friends at school and they were popular and they said if i acted like a mean girl and was their friend i could be popular too and i wanted to be popular so i did what they said but then i realized having true friends is better than being popular
Meredith: good that was the right thing to do
Lauren: mom why did you invite Hayden over for dinner?
Meredith: because i want to get to know your boyfriend
Lauren: he's not my boyfriend mom
Meredith: I've never seen you so happy before Lauren
Lauren: he does make me happy but i don't think he feels the same way
Meredith: you never know
Lauren: he could just be a player
Meredith: i think you just need to give him some time, maybe he's scared to tell you how he feels
Lauren: how do you know that?
Meredith: i don't but if he doesn't like you then he's stupid
Lauren: thanks mom
Meredith: no problem sweetie
// Kenzie and Johnny //
Johnny: talk to me Kenzie
Kenzie: what's there to talk about? we all know this is my fault
Johnny: no it's not Kenzie and I'm fine anyway so don't worry about it
Kenzie: Johnny i could've lost you
Johnny: Kenzie I'm fine so stop blaming yourself
Kenzie: *sighs* okay
Johnny: come on my mom is waiting for us
* Johnny and Kenzie get up and then their phones vibrate as they both get a message *
