(A/N: Hello all my wonderful people!! Me again. Here is an actual update. I did try a bit of a different format here, thoughts? Heads up, I am not married, so I am sorry if some of the stuff here is inaccurate for a wedding. Also, I know many of you hate Hera, but she is the goddess of marriage, soooo.... Anyways, enjoy!!)
Annabeth
It was finally the day. I was so nervous. I can't even form a long sentence! What is wrong with me! Aaaahhh! I am going to have a panic attack!
"Calm down," Piper says, her voice laced with charmspeak, "everything is prepared, you have the rings, you have a gorgeous dress, you will soon have a loving husband, and this will be a great day!"
"You're right," I said.
(A/N: I am going to let your imagination do the talking for the next while. I am also going to stop writing A/N before all authors note. Bold with italics equals author's note.)
I slipped on my gorgeous dress. The top of the dress was white, and if looked at from certain angles, gold. It hugged the curves of my body, and fit perfectly. As it went, it faded into a sea green, the same color as Percy's eyes. My hair was done into beautiful braids. Having a large braid on top fit perfectly into a braided crown updo. I had a very regal, silver tiara sitting atop my head. I looked like a perfect mix between a queen and a princess. The ceremony was being held also on the same beach I was proposed to, the Camp Half Blood beach. Aphrodite did live up to her word, the decorations were gorgeous, and everything matched and coordinated perfectly. I could not believe the day had finally come. I wore some owl earrings symbolizing that I am still Athena's daughter. The ceremony had finally begun. My friends started walking down the aisle with their special person (A/N: *Wriggles eyebrows) Piper is with Jason, Hazel with Frank, Calypso and Leo, Reyna by far was the most impressive. She walked down with all the pegasi from the stables, and basically every single creature who is friends with us, not to mention her water entourage walking with her from the sea. She walked and stood next to Piper and Hazel. I really wanted Nico and Will to walk down together too, but Nico didn't want the attention, and Will would do anything for Nico, so they were sitting in the audience along with all of the Gods, all of CHB, Camp Jupiter, and pretty much everyone else. Percy and I got permission to bring three mortals to Camp Half Blood for the ceremony. I convinced him to bring Sally, Paul, and their daughter, Zoe, because my dad and step mom did not need to see me cry. Finally, everyone had gone through the line, it was my turn. Chiron looped his arm around mine, and gave me a soothing fatherly smile that I knew I would never get from my dad, and we started walking down the aisle.
Percy
I watched as Annabeth walked down the aisle, and the least I could say would be that she looks absolutely stunning. Like, more stunning than usual. (A/N: Nice save, Perce.) I initially thought I would be nervous, but this just felt right. I felt like I had been ready for this my whole life. Hera stood up at the front, as the Goddess of Marriage, and started giving the generic marriage speech I tuned out, and just looked at Annabeth.
Annabeth
While Hera was doing the repeat after me part, she said, "Till death do us part,"
"Till death do us part," I repeated. Percy gave Hera a quizzical look, and looked back at me.
"We will never part," he stated plainly, and my heart burst with joy.
We finished the ceremony, and Hera finally asks for the rings. Tyson brings them to her, and walks away beaming. Percy places mine back on my finger, and I slide his onto his finger, and he studies it. It appears to be just an imperial gold band, but it is actually fused with all metals, making it indestructible. If he double taps it, it will allow Percy and I to hear each other talk, no matter how far we are away from each other. Kind of like a miniature phone with no signal loss or data charges. It, like my ring, can have water pulled out of it, but unlike my ring, it can turn into a grip for your sword, to make it more perfect than it is, or it can turn into a brace for if you hurt something. Also, like my it can also come back to him. Sorry, it is not as cool as mine, but A. I am amazing, and B. Percy is an amazing warrior, and really doesn't need that much. (Don't tell him I said that.) Anyway, we slipped the rings on, and Hera said, "you may now kiss the bride." Suddenly, Percy swept me up into his arms, and kissed me. I heard the audience coo and chuckle, but out of the corner of my eye, I saw a flash of darkness. I immediately turned around, and pulled out my dagger. There stood a man who looked as if he were made of darkness. I could see stars on his skin, like it was reflecting the whole universe, and I watched as he smirked while everyone got into their battle stances. I subconsciously pressed my ring, and my shield came up in front of me.
"Who dares interrupt this divine evening," Zeus booms.
"Yeah," Mr. D whines, "we were just getting to the wine!!" At this, Zeus shoots him a glare. That shuts him up.
The man laughs maniacally, "This is how you treat your great grandfather?! How disappointing."
"Who are you, and what do you want," my mom asks,
"I," He states, "am Chaos, creator of the universe, and I don't like the way you are ruling, so I am going to change it."
Zeus chucks his lightning bolt at him, and to everyone's surprise, Chaos absorbs it in his hand.
He laughs again, "I am the creator of the universe, I created you, and everything you are made of. I created everything in this universe, and nothing from this universe, can stop me."
13 of the 14 Olympians charged at Chaos. (Hestia did not.) Suddenly, Chaos snapped his fingers, and all thirteen of those Olympians were swept up into cages rippling with waves of darkness. The demigods stared open mouthed in shock.
Hestia shook her head from the campfire nearby. "Always the last Olympian," she sighs.
"Demigods, charge!" Zeus yells from his cage.
I don't move an inch, and neither does the rest of the Athena cabin, understanding the threats Chaos had just said, for everyone else, though... All of the cabins charge Chaos. I grab Percy, and hug him to my chest, preventing him from going into battle.
"That's right, Annabeth," Chaos laughs, while simultaneously imprisoning half bloods in cages, "make your boyfriend, or should I say husband stop, you are smart, you know this is a losing battle."
I feel darkness start to consume me, and feel myself being put in a cage slightly different from everyone else, darker, stronger. I see Aphrodite looking grim, and I know what she is thinking. Chaos too knows the power of love.
"Now," he say, "you will all watch as I kill the great hero, Percy Jackson."
I scream in anguish and start cursing very colorfully at Chaos. I faintly hear a voice whisper to me, "nice," but when I look around, no one is there. Chaos just laughs, having not heard the voice, and pulls Percy forward whilst simultaneously disarming him. He obviously wants a show, so he forms an obsidian dagger in his hand and raises it above Percy's neck...
(Hello... please don't kill me!!! More Aelin action next chapter. Sooo... Chaos... he... I am making him a he for unknown reasons, but I know that in some fanfics, he is a she... Anyways, how do you think this is? Two more updates coming at you soon!! Until next time!
Hugs,
Leah
