C H A P T E R T H R E E || THE PERKS OF BEING LITTLE MISS SHYNESS

"Watch where you're going!" Adonis snaps and glares at me.

"I-" I begun nervously. "I-" I tried again.

"Get to it then. I don't have all day!" He raised his eye brows expectantly and I flushed. I had turned into a bumbling idiot.

"Shut up you twat! You bumped into her first. You should be the one apologising!" Lily came to my defence instantly.

"Me? Little Miss Shyness bumped into me! And she can't even apologise!" He rolled his eyes and I tried again.

"S-sorry," I managed to stutter out and quickly darted past him and fast walked till I reached the bathrooms. Groaning, I slumped against the wall. I had just made a fool of myself in front of one of the hottest guy I had ever seen. He was even hotter than Connor.

Aha, the perks of being Little Miss Shyness. There were none.

The door flew open and a very pissed off Lily marched in.

"What was that?" Lily demands.

"What was what?" I asked feebly.

"The stuttering," she said.

"That was me being nervous. That boy looked like he was going to kill me!" I exclaimed.

"Damn. And I thought he was nice," Lily muttered under her breath.

"What? You know him?"

"No. But he is the really hot new guy."

"That's him? He is so rude!"

"Yeah. The hot ones always are," Lily sighed dramatically and I rolled my eyes. I just hoped that he would leave me alone. I didn't need some arrogant, bad boy making my life living hell just because he bumped into me. Or in his case, I bumped into him.

"So, little sis. How was school today?" A male voice asked and I turned to see a smirking River.

"Why are you here?" I groaned. "Don't you have any where else you can stay for the weekend?"

"What? I'm not allowed to visit my favourite sister?" River pretended to look offended.

"River, I'm your only sister," I sighed.

"And a mighty good one too!" He exclaimed.

"What do you want?" I raised my eyebrows expectantly and he pretends to look shocked.

"Me? Why would I want something?" He said.

"Cause you just said that I was, and I quote, a mighty good sister," I raised my eyebrows waiting for an answer. River looked at me a little guiltily.

"Okay, so maybe I do want something," he said reluctantly.

"Ha! I knew it," I grinned smugly.

"I have a date and I was kinda hoping-"

"Nope. No way," I interrupted.

"You didn't even know what I was going to say!"

"Doesn't matter. I'm not helping you for or with any date. Plus I have plans tonight!" I exclaim.

"Please little sis? Pretty please with a cherry on top?" He begged.

"No way."
