"How much longer do you think it'll take before the military shows up to save us?" Ian asked as we were all eating breakfast the next morning.
"Will they risk attacking if the terrorists will easily kill the innocent?" Janet asked.
"I don't think so, I think they've been trying to figure out how to solve this, because they aren't just gonna abandon us." Becca stated.
"They'll definitely be here soon enough, we just need to watch ourselves until then." I said as Jared walked down the stairs.
"We need to get Jake back. Who knows what they'll be doing to him in that building, they don't consider LGBT people people. They could be torturing them, starving them, or killing them. We can't just let it happen." Amanda said as Jared opened the fridge without saying a word to anyone.
I felt so awful for what happened to Jared, I remember when Kelly and I met him in the Asia cage, he was full of hope and energy, the friendliest person I had ever met. I grew so close to him throughout the plane experience, but after Kelly died he became distant, it was like he was a battery that was out of charge. He was an empty shell of a person. I've tried to keep in touch with him, but he wouldn't even respond to my texts or return my calls. I miss him.
"They'll shoot us if they catch us in there." Henry pointed out.
"What if we sneak him out during the night, we can hide him in the attic. No one knows about the attic." Amanda suggested.
"There's an attic?" I asked her, confused. My Mom bought this house two years ago, and we didn't even know there's an attic.
"There's a secret trapdoor entrance in the master bedroom closet. I accidentally found it once." Amanda explained as I laughed about it to myself.
"We're out of milk." Jared said as he closed the fridge.
"I'll go to the store to get some." Brooke said getting up from the table.
"That would work, we can go tonight." Alicia said as she lifted her bowl of cereal to her lips to drink the milk from the bowl.
"That sounds good, Ian, are you ok with that?" Matt asked Ian.
Ian nodded his head, and Brooke came back into the kitchen with her jacket on.
"Sandy, I don't really know where the market is. Can you come with me?" She asked me as she picked up her purse.
"Sure." I responded before getting up.
"Be careful." Becca said tossing me my shoes.

Brooke and I walked into the supermarket to see terrorists patrolling the store, making sure no one stole anything.
"I have to go to the bathroom, wanna come?" Brooke asked as I nodded my head and followed her into the women's restroom.
No one else was in here.
"Perfect." Brooke said before pushing me against the wall and kissing me.
I kissed back for a second, but then pushed her off.
"What? I got the vibe that you're gay." Brooke said as her face turned red.
"Bisexual, actually. But there's just a lot going on right now, I was really excited to meet you because I thought you were beautiful, but Matt coming back has brought back a lot of old feelings and memories. Also, we don't wanna get caught kissing each other, we'll be placed in the home for the corrupt." I said as Brooke nodded her head, embarrassed.
