Becca's POV

Twelve years later

I thought that after the Town was saved by the military, I'd never have another encounter with the terrorists again.

I was wrong.

Henry and I were walking up to Jared's door with our three year old daughter, Sandy Jr.

Henry and I were going to Jared's to celebrate him being named a war hero since he took out the last remaining members of the terrorists who had been terrorizing us since we were thirteen.

We're all twenty eight now, and Jared is twenty nine.

After Sandy died, the military saved us from the terrorists only a day after, and most of the terrorists were killed there, but some escaped and they began growing again, with more and more members per week. Marco was taken captive when we were all saved by the military, and he was executed only three days later.

Henry proposed to me four years ago, and then we had the best thing that ever happened to us a year after that. Our beautiful daughter. We decided to name her after Sandy because she had always been the backbone of our group, she always managed to keep everyone together, but it was hard to in the end when she was so broken. Janet's death and Matt's death definitely pushed her over the edge, and she couldn't take it anymore. So she killed Alicia.

I couldn't believe Alicia had been with the terrorists the whole time, and then killed Matt. At least Sandy took care of her, though.

Sandy was my best friend, and her sacrifice, although selfish, was something so honorable and heroic that I never want to forget about her, she deserves to have her memory live on.

After the town, everyone went their separate ways again. I haven't really talked to anyone other than Henry ever since then.

Jared went on to join the military, and made it his mission to avenge Kelly and the others by hunting down and defeating the terrorists.

About two weeks ago, he accomplished that and was now being named a war hero for his accomplishments.

We were all meeting up to congratulate Jared, and catch up with one another.

We rang the doorbell, and Jared answered us with a hug and a smile before inviting us in.

Jared slowly worked his way out of his depression after Kelly, but he was never the same friendly, humorous leader we knew him to be. He recovered, but never fully.

Henry and I walked in with Sandy Jr, and Amanda gasped before running over and wrapping her arms around me, and then Henry.

"I missed you guys so much! How have you been?" Amanda asked ecstatically.

She's still the same bubbly, excitable girl she's always been.

"We've been good, what about you?" Henry asked her.

"Never mind that, is this Sandy Jr? She's adorable!" Amanda said as she crouched down and tickled Sandy Jr, who smiled and giggled.

Amanda went on to be a news reporter. She had always loved to do that kind of stuff, her and Holly would always record their experience on the plane for the news before Holly was caught and thrown out of the plane. Henry and I always loved watching her segments.

"Long time no see." Ian said as he smirked.

"Ian!" Henry exclaimed before wrapping him in a hug, and I did the same.

Ian still had his white hair, and surprisingly still looked good with it. You'd think white hair wouldn't look the best on an adult.

After Jake died, Ian dedicated his life to helping people in need Who were experiencing discrimination for sexual identity, gender identity, race, religion, or anything else. He started a home where kids who were thrown out for being different could go to for shelter, and where others who weren't thrown out could come to share their troubling experiences with people going through the same stuff as them. He didn't want anyone to ever have to go through what Jake did.

Ian also had a girlfriend who was the older sister of a little boy who was being discriminated against at school for identifying as a boy after being born as a girl, he said he reminded him a lot of Jake.

"She looks just like you, Becca." Brooke said as she came around the corner.

I wrapped her in a hug.

How could someone so kind and sympathetic be related to someone like Bella?

Brooke is now an elementary school teacher, and is engaged to her boyfriend. We were all confused after she told us about her moment with Sandy and then had a boyfriend, but she soon explained that she's bisexual, and so was Sandy.

We all thought it was funny, from each disaster there were only two survivors left who's first disaster was the one they survived, a male and female from each.

Henry and I from the cruise ship, Amanda and Jared from the plane and cages, and Ian and Brooke from the town.

The six of us sat down and began talking and catching up, and we all spoke about the excessive talk shows we were featured on once the terrorists didn't return for more.

Sandy's death ended that, they must have been after her.

However, many people believe they were becoming stronger for one last attack to take out Henry, who killed their original leader.

They might have been, but they definitely aren't now, thanks to Jared.

Looking around the room at the six, beautiful, amazing, caring people in my life, I'm so happy that I have these people in my life.

Henry was actually a bestselling author now, he wrote a trilogy series to tell Sandy's amazing story since she heroically and nobly sacrificed her life to kill Alicia after she killed Matt.

These books were The Cruise, The Plane, and The Town.
