Chapter Six

***

Fifteen minutes later.

Remind me again why I agreed on going to the Pizzeria in the mall with Nathan on his car.

That's because you're hungry, the voice inside of my head visited again.

If it weren't for the pizza. Oh what I'd do to get that steaming slice of pizza with melting mozzarella cheese and bacon and pepperoni and...

I decided to ignore the hot guy beside me, I don't exactly trust myself when I talk to guys like this. Guys like Patrick? the voice inside my head attempted a conversation. Yes, I responded.

Woah, woah. Am I getting insane or am I getting insane?

Lets go back to the situation at hand, now where was I? Oh, the pizza, the mouthwatering overloaded pizza..

"Why do you look like you're having an orgasm?"

I almost choked on my saliva. I struggled to get air through my lungs, and Nathan just laughed at the sight of me almost dying because of his big mouth. "Remind me why I agreed on riding on your car again?" I scowled. There would be a dying puppy in front of Nathan and I'd bet he will still laugh.

"Because Marcus said so,"

Ugh, that... that.. I don't even know what to call him! I swear he always got that fishy smell around him, not literally of course.

Marcus had to pick up some of his friends to join us for lunch and he oh-so-gladly suggest that I go with Nathan on his car.

All the doubt I had last night came crashing to reality. Nathan was a jerk. He really is. And the following events justified my hypothesis.

"Hey, the mall is over here." I said, my gaze following the shrinking view of the mall from the side mirrors. "Nice going jackass, you missed your turn,"

"Apparently,  I didn't, " he glanced sideways to my direction, a smirk making its way to his face. "I need to pick up my girlfriend first."

I ignored his statement and fiddled with my iPhone instead.

Don't look in his eyes, it will swallow you and bri-

My phone vibrated and I answered it instantly. If only I knew it was Patrick who called.

His sigh came through the phone and past my ears, don't let the feelings get to you, the first time my mind chose to help me.

"The hell do you want?" I almost shouted to the other line, all the anger and fury slowly sipping through my voice.

Nathan noticed this but he chose to ignore it which I was thankful for.

"Let me explain, please? At least hear the side of my story, Andy,"

I didn't respond so he continued. "After we went to Hawaii, I got a call from Chad, said he was having a pool party in his house-"

I cut him off. "In the middle of the day?" I asked, not buying all of this at all.

"Yes, its summer," he's got a point there, but that doesn't mean I'll change my mind. "And, well, he spiked my iced tea an-" a bitter laugh escaped my mouth. "And he forced Stella a-"

"Don't you dare mention that bitch's name," I said, my eyes and voice in rage.

He sounded nervous, well he should be. "Well he forced the two of us to go to my house and-"
