A week into school and its actually going great so far.

Not.

If people thought that waking up at 6am on a Monday is a great way to start the week, then they're probably crazy.

And so I woke up at 7am. Or so at least that's what I saw on my wall clock. I've just got from my shower when my phone started buzzing like crazy.

I answered it while I pull out the first thing from my closet. A plain black shirt.

"Hell-" and got immediately cut off by a girl screeching my name.

"Where the hell are you?!"

"I'm still at home, why?" I said, putting it on speaker.

"You wanna know why?" Ash says sarcastically. "Because its already eight fucking thirty in the morning,"

I glanced at my wall clock, just above the doorframe of my bedroom door. 7am, it read. And it had stayed exactly the same for the past hour while I was in the bathroom singing a Beyonce song.

Holy smackerdoodles.

I grabbed my backpack, not bothering to change the things inside, threw my cell in and start for the door.

I didn't bother to put my helmet on since my hair was still a little wet, so I just let it down and started the engine of my motorbike.

Three minutes later, I was already up the stairs of QHS, walking through the hallways and running to my Calculus class.

I managed to put a coat of gloss to my lips while using the other hand to pat down my tangled hair.

I opened the door, "I know, I know I'm late. I'm so-"

My eyes shifted across the empty room and it landed on a boy. Who has four eyes, might I add.

"Um, who are you?" I asked, confused. Where is everybody?

"I-uh, I-I'm new here." he was standing at the other end, which was where the whiteboard was located. He was answering an equation about functions. A total nerd.

I just looked at him in confusion. Maybe he's telling the truth, I haven't seen him before. But then again, I'm not  the social type of person to know everybody.

"The principal told me to go to this room. But there was no one here when I came, so I just started solving the equations on the board to pass time." he babbled, and I just looked at him again. There was something familiar about him, I don't know what it is though. Maybe because of the accent, he reminded me of some celebrity. I dismissed the thought and the buzzing of my phone took me back to reality.

"Hi, Ash,"

"Oh, thank god, you answered," she exhaled. "I forgot to tell you that Mr. Willcaster, the new Calc teacher, will be teaching at one of the classrooms in the E-wing," she says.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "They could've told us beforehand," I looked at the four-eyed nerd who's staring at me intently. Please don't tell me he's like Andre Hall. I mentally shuddered at the thought. I gave him the stink eye and turned my back to him.

"I know," Ash sighed again, "Okay, listen, I'll talk to you later okay? I've got English lit right now. Bye,"

"Bye." I hung up.

I looked up and the guy was still standing there, his right hand gliding across the whiteboard. I walked up beside him, grabbed a marker and started answering the other problems.
