Blinky woke to find himself alone in a small room, his injuries cleaned, bandaged, and somehow stitched. Confused, Blinky stood and made his way out of the room; other than lingering pain and growing hunger, he felt pretty fine.
Seeing Aargh standing guard outside his room, Blinky couldn't stand waiting any longer. Aargh saw him and scooped Blinky up in his large arms, kissing him hard. They broke apart when applause suddenly started, and Blinky looked around to see all the free trolls watching them. The pair broke apart, embarrassed, but glad to see they were well accepted.
Jim stood and gave Blinky a hug, quickly joined by his friends. The pressure reminded Blinky of his broken arm and he had to step back sooner than he would like, but Blinky was simply relieved to be back with his people.
Jim explained, with various interjections from Claire and Toby, what had happened after their escape from Dictatious's base. Blinky had been asleep for three days; his wounds had gotten infected, and Jim was forced to reintroduce his mom to trollkind so that she could help him. He had a lot of explaining to do, but it was worth it. Reluctantly, Kyota's death was explained. Aargh had kept the hideout running while Blinky was asleep, but he was more than happy to relinquish control to his love. They were all just relieved to have their friend and leader back.
With this disaster averted, there was still much to do, many challenges to overcome. The important thing was that they were reunited, and they could face the future together.
