I had been minding my own business walking in the park absolutely no one in any danger. This place was just another round I had to make to keep what little territory from the other shadow creatures. My own little place where I knew no one would actually try and fight me on my own ground. I rounded a corner finding myself coming to a stop.
Just before me stood a group of rowdy male teens with one girl in the middle. She looked nervous and was ready to scream out, until her eyes landed on me. She was often in this situation and not just guys. It could be anything really. My ears twitched in anticipation. Never once had she called out to me. It was like a switch came on when she saw me. She glared back at one of the boys who grabbed her hand. She jerked away said something in a low voice and then shoved past them and marched right behind me. Now this she never does.
I stared at her for but a moment until movement caught my attention. The little gang of boys moved forward smirks on their faces and I was definitely not one for crowds. So growled lowly with the force to back it up. The makes them pause and look at me. Their eyes widen as if just noticing my werewolf qualities. My liquid golden eyes, white fluffy ear atop my head. Plus the white pointy fangs that were clearly noticable when I spoke out. "Back off puny humans." They shrugged before moving away not want to mess with a beast. I shook my head and was about to go back to my business when the girl spoke up. "Why do you never help?" I glanced back over my shoulder to the girl who always silent.
"You the first time I saw you and were surrounded by those little leeches I was about to help, but your eyes told me to just sit still and watch. I can do this. So I never helped." I shrugged and went to move away again but the girl tagged along, seeming content to just walk.
I paused in my step. Something was off in this part of my little territory. There was something way off with the silence filling up. Like even the damn trees themselves were afraid to even speak. I moved towards an area I often visited through out my territory.
I little hidden oasis. It was the one area the humans kept clean of trash and other things through some sort of dumb luck or even magic. I was more opted for the magic part. "Hey what your name anyway?" I glanced back at the girl then away. I was too nervous to keep my eyes in one place.
"Iseri Tora." A twig snapped and I glanced in that direction seeing nothing but the girl smiling. It was then I noticed her attire had change and she had wicked smile on her face. I growled my unease growing. "Well then you shall work perfectly." I was confused and definately on guard.
Just as she stepped forward hands raised and ready to cast a spell with the magic that leaked from her inner core, something shot out of the water from behind me quickly pinning me to the ground. My growls were loud and apparent as the girl approached. "Now, now," The girl kneeled in front of me muttering and then wrapping something around my neck.
It was only a matter of seconds of heavy breathing before passing out. Me a werewolf, being taken down. How humiliating.
I could only remember the glimpses. Terrified faces, blood. Puddles of blood. The smell of death stifling. The cries of pain and crunch of bone. Swords, arrows, spears, and daggers.
My eyes opened just as ropes were throne aroind me. One snagged my front paw while another reached for my back. Several wrapped around my muzzle and I was brought down. I was breathing heavily. I wasn't trying to fight the ropes that only tightened with each breath I took. I could hear deep hysterical laughter that sounded more from a girl than anything. "The beast finally fell! Hahaha." I knew the voice even from my lack of knowing it. I fierce savage growl erupted and the laughter still. I struggled to my feet even with the ropes cutting into my white fur.
"Petty witch. Release your hold or you'll suffer the consequences." The girl smiled wickedly. "Only if I die." I lunged only to have things end in darkness.
