It was happening all over again. She didn't want them to get hurt. She never wanted anyone one to get hurt because of her.
She skidded to a stop as she neared the location she promised. Upon the sight she was furious. Here that person promised to not harm a single hair on their head but they were bound tight looking ready to run as his little army had them surrounded. "Oh looky here. The savior is here." She growled low in her throat.
She jumped from the small cliff her wolf taking to the landing easily. "Let them go." She growled menacingly. "Haha, only if you do as promised." She eyed him and then followed the path of her brother and his friend. They looked frightened but determined. She knew that determination though. It was dangerous, especially in their situation.
She stood up straight. "Let them go and I will." The man smiled in triumph as his men threw rope in every direction binding her tight. The whole act brought her brother and his friend to a standstill as the men unbound them and pushed them away. Except they didn't go far. They hid at the edge of the cliffy forest.
"Now, go with what you promised." I didn't want to. I didn't want them to get ahold of what was inside. The very precious thing that saved my life and life again. It what was what finally saved me. It gave me the freedom I so desperately wanted. The one I sought most.
I sighed allowing the shift as I turned back human. "My, my what an adorable thing you are. You surely will make the perfect pet for my crew." A savage growl escaped past my lips as the binds tightened around me. "Hmm, you'll break eventually." He waved his in dismissal. "Take her away." I struggled a bit but altogether froze when his voice sounded out above the rest of everyone else.
I turned spotting my brother with his friend charging this way. "Ria!" Fear struck me. No no no. Leave here. Go away.
My enemy laughed. "So they came back to play." I struggled to get out of the binds. "Take them down." I pushed and pulled with everything out, straining myself to the point where I was holding everyone back from pulling to their ship. "Get her out of here."
"Sir, she's too strong," I whined low in my throat as the first of his men met with my brother.
The world slowed down and it was if fate wanted me to see this. It wanted me to see my brother be killed. "No!" I jumped forward pulling everyone who held a rope.
The ropes were like paper, ripping easily as the wolf came forth pouncing on the man who was aiming for my brother. I threw the man away turning swiftly as I threw m brother then his friend on my back and was dodging the commander. "No, you must go through with the deal," I growled out ducking under one of his swipes. "As if, you broke the deal first, by attacking my brother and Jack."
He ground his teeth together as howls erupted in the distance. He froze his eyes set on behind me. "I refused to look back at what was behind me as I stepped back. I knew who it was. Now I would be in his debt and have no choice but to join him. "Damn it." The commander pounced and I tossed Jack and my brother back just in time for him to slam into me. "I will not let this go. I will not lose so easily."
I yelped as I tried to push him off of me, but he bit into my shoulder gaining a good hold of me. I could feel him ready to rip into me as I still. This was going to be tricky. Or so I thought as the commanding wolfman jumped onto the commanders back. they tumbled around till the commander took off with the wolfman sitting down with a sigh. "Hey hey, Ria. Ria, look at me. Are you alright? Come on get up." I focused back on myself just realizing how dangerous of a situation I was in. I was beaten with gaping wounds, my breathing heavy. "Come on, get up, please. Don't leave me on my own. You're all I have left."
I gulped as I tried to get up but I could barely even lift my head. The commander wolfman looked beyond worry. "Her wounds, they're not healing." I chuckled. I had forgotten. the serum he injected into me is still preventing me from my quick healing. I was back to just a normal human healing speed. "Ria! Get up!" Their words rang clear in my mind but also in hers. She could hear them plainly.
"Ria," She appeared in my mind as she usually did. In a soft glowing looking as if she were some sort of goddess. "Get up. You can do it. They're waiting for you." I huffed taking in a huge gulp of air and used the last of my might and focused on the healing. I needed to get rid of it. I couldn't leave this world. Not yet. Not when I know there are so many important things I must do. So many people waiting for me. People I can not leave behind.
I sat up breathing out in pain. I had managed to close the wounds but the pain was still there. "Tch. Dumb cat." I turned back and my brother wrapped his arms around me like a boa constrictor would its prey. "Why do you always have to cause so much trouble for me." I smiled brightly hugging him back and pulled Jack in with the hug. "Thank you." My brother sighed pulling away and I turned to the wolfman commander. "You owe me now." I sighed. "I know I know. Looks like I have no choice but to join your pack." I raised a finger as he began to get excited. " On one condition. My brother's are allowed to join me." The wolf man commander smiled. "Of course. We can't just take one without the whole pack now can we."
