Weekdays, from a.m. to p.m., we adhere to a strict regimen. Everything in our lives controlled. But then something like the murder of Jason Blossom happens, and you realize there is no such thing as control. There is only chaos. Nevertheless, some of us strive to impose and maintain orderin what is, fundamentally, an order less world. A fact which would very soon be confirmed in ways none of us could have foreseen.

While Jughead and Betty were going around playing detectives. I, Talia Grace, am going around trying to hide Joaquin's and FP's tracks. Even though FP asked me to stay out of it. I cant. I'm hiding this huge secret. Guilt is something I've always hid with my bitchy cover. Let alone my giant wall I put up. Jughead can not know. The only ones who do are FP, Mustang, Joaquin and I.

As the number of days go on, I sat outside on the stairs of the trailer, as the snow came down. It was silent and peaceful, for once. "Hey beautiful" I heard and looked up to see Fox. "Hey" I said and scooted over. "Whats on your mind?" He asked, but I shrugged. "Just thinking about everything" Fox nodded. "Are you going to see the double feature with Jughead for his birthday?" I smiled at the thought of my brother and I's tradition every year for his birthday. We'd go to the movies, catch a double feature at the Bijou, eat some popcorn, and just ignore all our problems for that day. "Yeah,I uh.. I have to go to wherever he's staying at tomorrow." Fox nodded, and it fell silent between us.

The next day came and I found myself on the phone talking to Betty. "Bets he doesn't want a party and never has" I argued over my brother's behalf. "I get that, but can we just try this once?" Betty said and I sighed. "Fine, do you have a plan?" I asked giving up. "Yes! I'm gonna go to the movies with Jughead, so Archie needs you to help them set up." I nodded to myself as I came down the street towards Betty's and Archie's.

"Alright whatever I'm here" I said and we said our goodbyes before hanging up. I went up to Archie's and knocked on the door. The door swung open and Jughead stood there. I smiled as I hugged him tightly. "Happy Birthday!" I called out and Jughead chuckled. "Thanks are you ready?" he asked and I sighed. I turned to Archie who came up behind him. "You're going with Betty, and Archie here has agreed to help me play guitar" I told him and Jughead nodded. "Alright, well I better go" he said and left us.

"Well lets get started" I said closing the door behind us. Archie and I decorated the house, hanging banners and some streamers. Archie even broke into the liquor cabinet. People stared showing up and we all turned to the door as it started to open. "Surprise!" we all called out only to see Veronica. "Do I look like Jughead to you?" She called out making me laugh. "Oh. Betty just texted me. They're almost here." Kevin said but I left the room to fill up my cup.

I came out sipping my drink, as Ethel called out "Guys, they're really coming this time. Everybody hide." I just stood with Archie who had an arm around me. "Ugh, I'm so over this." Veronica called out. Jughead and Betty came in and we all jumped out, " Surprise!" Jughead just sarcastically chuckled "This is why we left the double feature."

Betty grabbed my arm and pulled me to the kitchen where I unveiled the hamburger cake. I helped her put the candles in and light them before I followed Betty who carried it out. "♪ Happy birthday to you ♪ ♪ Happy birthday to you ♪ ♪ Happy birthday dear Jughead ♪ ♪ Happy birthday to you ♪" Betty sang, but I just smiled at Jugheads shocked face. "That was haunting, Betty." He called out. "Blow out the candles and make a wish Juggie!" I cheered and he whispered something to Betty before blowing all the candles out. "One blow!" Kevin called out as they clapped.
