Y/N's POV:

Not long after I had finished my session with Jungkook, the clock struck 12:30. I could finally go on my much-needed lunch break. I was dying, my stomach had been growling at me for the past hour to feed it, and finally, it was getting what it wanted. I walked down the long narrow hallways of the main floor.

I walked past the receptionist desk and into the staff room. The staff room was where we kept the machine for us to clock in and out of work. I swiped my keycard in the door and watched as it flashed green at me, signaling for me to open it. I pulled the handle down and entered the staff room.

Inside was the norm. The machine, microwaves, coffee machines, etc. There were plenty of people inside the staff room with me. If they weren't the administrative board or supervisors, then it was other doctors and nurses that wanted to clock out for their lunch break as well.

I waited in line as I pulled my phone out. Today was hectic so I went to check my hair and see if it was still in place. My hair was frizzy from my shower, but it was finally dry. I combed through my locks of hair with my finger, trying to brush through the knots that were starting to form, as well as lessen the volume.

Finally, I got to the front of the room and grabbed my keycard and swiped it to clock out for my lunch break. I had a bad habit of not leaving earlier to get in line, as a good couple of minutes of my lunch break had already passed. Jisoo and Dylan always constantly reminded me to do so, so I would be on time, but I kept forgetting.

My thoughts were completely dedicated to my patients and their needs that lunch did not come up until it was time to eat. After I had clocked myself out, I left the staff room. I walked back down the hallways I came from and towards the cafeteria on the other side of the building. This side of the building was very familiar to me. Not only was the cafeteria over on this side, but as well as the pharmacy.

Jisoo was a nurse that worked in the pharmacy. She wasn't the head but she was an assistant for the head pharmacist, Mrs. Li. Mrs. Li was an older woman that was well into her 60's, but she was always nice to all of us. When I first came here, I felt scared to ask for Yoongi's prescriptions, but when I met her, I was no longer nervous.

Mrs. Li was a very peaceful woman who made you feel as if you were talking to your mother. She would tell us stories of her younger days back in her home country, China. Often, many of the employees did call her mom instead of Mrs. Li, and of course, she was perfectly content with this nickname. I would often visit Mrs. Li when I felt homesick as well. She felt like home and it was nice to have a motherly figure around to talk to.

I finally reached the cafeteria to see Jisoo and Dylan waiting for me once again. "I swear you take longer and longer each time we eat lunch together." Jisoo scolded me. I shrugged my shoulders. I knew any excuse I could possibly give was not a valid one when it got in the way of Jisoo's food, especially on Fridays.

On Fridays, the cafeteria served fried chicken, Jisoo's favorite food. Today she was going easy on me, but I could see the pure desire in her eyes for the chicken as the three of us waited in line. My eyebrows furrowed as I continued to think back to the room on the 12th floor. I still needed to ask Dylan and Jisoo about it. I wanted to know if they knew anything that could satisfy my curiosity about the room.

Dylan looked over at me, "There's smoke coming out of your ears, I think you're thinking too hard." He joked. I rolled my eyes at his lame attempt at a joke. "I was just thinking about something that caught my eye." I clarified. "Ooh, A new crush perhaps?" Dylan wiggled his eyebrows at me.

I shoved him and scoffed, "I said something, not someone." He faked hurt, "That's ok, I know you'll eventually fall for my looks." Jisoo immediately snorted at his words and broke out laughing. Her laughing causing the two of them to bicker once again as if they were a married couple. I watched them with a smile. They were my two closest friends, and seeing them like this made me feel warm inside.
