Jace: Neither of you are very emotional people, and even when you have emotions, you find it hard to express them. So, because of this it took a while for you to tell each other you love each other. However, eventually one surprisingly quiet night, you just had to tell him.
'Ok this has been annoying me ever since I found out so I just have to tell you'
'What?'

'I love you too Y/N'

Alec: Alec has... problems with emotions, especially feelings of love. However, he wasn't like this with you. As soon as you started going out he knew he loved you but he didn't tell you until there was the possibility of you dying.
'Y/N, in case we don't get out of here alive, I have to tell you now. I love you, I love you so much Y/N'
'I love you too Alec. More than I can put into words.'

Simon: Simon doesn't have trouble with emotions, however he was afraid of rejection. Even though you'd liked each other since kindergarten and you agreed to going out with him, he's still scared that you'll reject him.

Magnus: Magnus was very upfront with his love for you. In fact he told you on your first date. You had drinks at hus and suggested you have a party.
'Want to thrown an impromptu party?'

Raphael: He didn't tell you until he was certain. He came to the realisation when you decided to tell him.
