Yes, these 2 are both from the same series which is why I have them together. Let me talk about them separately, though.

Let's start with Sayori: I'm sure no one here was aware that I suffer from depression. And no, I am NOT "self-diagnosed". I went to "Meridian Psychological Associates" because my mom thought I had a learning disability, and they told me I have slight depression and anxiety (which would explain my mood swings and excessive crying.) Now, as far as I can tell, I haven't had depression for too long. It probably started when I was in middle school (which I guess you could call a long time, but whatever you wanna think.) I didn't think much of it though. But considering Sayori suffered from depression and tried hiding it for so long really hit me. She also tried to make others happy even if in the process she becomes less happy, which I can relate to. She eats a lot as well, same as Usagi. And if I'm in the mood for food, I will probably eat a ton.

As for Natsuki, well I relate to her wanting to hide her hobbies from people

As for Natsuki, well I relate to her wanting to hide her hobbies from people. When I first started reading manga, I didn't really want anyone but my close friends to be aware. I also felt like people were judging me when they saw me with a manga instead of a "regular book" like Monika (and kinda Yuri) did to Natsuki. I'm over that now, but that's how I felt in middle school. Natsuki also enjoys baking, and if I'm in the mood I do as well :)
