Today was just a ordinary day or so I wanted Y/N to believe I got up and made coffee and got ready to go to a meeting with one of the designers I'm working with, Y/N woke up just as I was finishing getting dressed I walked over and gave her a kiss and told her where I was going, I left soon after that. I got to the office and I texted my manager and her manager and told them not to book anything for us for tomorrow so we could spend the whole day together hopefully as a new happily engaged couple when I got out of my meeting I had a suit waiting for me to change into so I wouldn't have to go back to our place and grab one. I pulled out my phone as I got into my car and I texted Y/N
Me: Hey baby, we should meet up tonight for dinner some of my new business partners wanna meet you
Y/N: where at?
Me: How about The Ledbury
Y/N: OK
Me: BTW I bought you a dress you should wear that one tonight it would look perfect.
Y/N: what time should I be there by?
Me: 5
Y/N: Ok what time are you coming home?
Me: I wont be able to make it home before the meeting I'm going to have to meet you there im packed with meetings until 4
Y/N: K, I'll see you there then
Me: I love you
Y/N: I love you too
I set my phone down it was about 1pm and I had three and a half hours to make sure everything goes perfect I already rented out the restaurant for the night, I ordered her favorite flowers to be put on the table as a centerpiece for dinner, I requested it to be dim and candle lit and soft music to be playing in the background I asked some of the servers to take pictures of us during the big event and I'll just play it off as their just fans of ours. I called the restaurant to make sure everything was still according to schedule.
4:45pm
I just got a text from Y/N saying she just parked the car, I walked towards the entrance of the restaurant and waited for her I opened the door as she approached and she came in she looked absolutely stunning the dress was perfectly fitted for her, her hair and makeup everything was perfect and wrapped her arm around my waist I did the same after placing a kiss on her cheek. We had some extra people to be in the restaurant posing as guests so it wouldn't give anything away. The waiter showed us to a specific table and sat us down and handed us a menu and offered us some champagne.
"So how was your day?" I asked her
"Good, I had a conference call with Britney (manager) and we talked about some new propositions." You answered
"Good, well I hope it goes well." I smiled nervously looking down at the table
"Do you remember this restaurant?" I asked her with a smirk looking up at her
"Yeah, how could I forget this is where you took me on our first date." Y/N smiled looking around, she noticed the flowers and commented on them being her favorite I played it off like I didn't know, the waiter came back and asked if we were ready to order.
"Shouldn't we wait for your business partners?" She asked wondering why they haven't showed up yet.
"Well the thing is babe their not coming." I started,
"What?" she asked puzzled
"Because tonight is going to be about us, everything about tonight isn't a coincidence it's because I wanted it to be perfect." I started as I pushed my chair back
"Y/N we've gone through our ups and downs and we have come out of every obstacle stronger than ever you are the best thing that's ever happened to me you make me want to be a better person and ever since the day I met you, you have made me the happiest man so Y/F/N will you marry me?" I asked slowly getting down on one knee and pulling out a box and opening it.
"Yes!" you cry tears of joy as I stand up as you wrap your arms around me and mine around you and kiss before I slide the ring on your finger.
