Gerik: *holds the script up lazily - reclining on the divan, the bordest he's ever been - and reads it in a very monotone voice*

Thou art a lover; borrow Cupid's wings

Merik: *at the top of his lungs*

I AM TOO SORE ENPIERCED WITH HIS SHA-

Cherik: *wanders in*

Gerik: *jumps up from the divan and slams his hands over Cherik's ears*

HE DOESN'T NEED TO HEAR THE NEXT BIT! It's too great oppression for a tender thing like he!

Merik: is love a tender thing? It is too rough,

too rude, too boisterous and it pr-

Christine: Good heavens is that the time? Off to bed, Cherik!

Cherik: *as Christine hurries him out of the room*

But it's noontime....
