Diya] At the park we...

I meet up with Min at the dog park she took me to a week before she had to leave. I always go to this park whenever I could.

"Diya I um?" Min said slowly.

"Yeah?" Diya asked

"I uh..." She struggled.

"Yeah?" Although I had no clue what she was gonna ask I knew what I wanted it to be.

"I like you," she yelled. "I like-like you." She repeated calmly.

My heart jumped a million time per minute. I've been wanting her to say that for years.

"It's okay if you don't like me...I'll go." She said sadly to my silence.

I don't want her to leave, but I can't say anything. Without thinking I grabbed her jacket and pulled her back. She turned around and I pulled her close to me. Only a few inches away and I rested my head on her shoulder as my eyes watered

"You have no idea how long I waited for you to say that," I said to her. She stood there a second frozen before quickly wrapping her arms around me and pulling me closer.

We stood like that for a few seconds just living in the moment when she pulled away a little to look into my eyes.

"Will you go on a date with me?" She asked looking up in my eyes. Happily, I nodded, smiled, and pulled her back into the hug.

"Min..."

"Umm?"

"I like-like you too."

I can't believe this is really happening.....is it really happening?

"This isn't a dream right?" I asked Min as she hid her face in the crook of my neck.

"It's better than a dream...it's forever" Min hummed on my neck causing a shiver to spread through my body.

"Want me to confirm that it's not a dream?" She asked. I could hear her smirking through her words.

Without my answer, she pulled back a little and cupped my cheeks in her hands. She pulled me to her and kisses me. I loved it. I kissed back.

"Get it homie!" Akarsha yelled making Min and me pull apart.

"No need to hide it. We already saw it." She continued as she stood up.

"We?" Min asked. Noelle stood up and frowned.

"If being with her makes you happy Diya. I support it, but I and short stuff are not going to be friends." Noelle explained. Normally Min would have threatened Noelle for the short comment. But she was too busy hugging me to care.

"So joining the LGBT+ peeps?" Akarsha asked we walking up to the two, holding hands.

"Your apart of that?" Noelle asked.

"Yeah, bi." She answered in a cool way like she always does.

"If we're confessing sexuality then. I'm. I think I'm gay," Noelle said kinda timid.

"I always thought you were attracted to success," Min said calmly.

"I knew it!" Akarsha yelled in response to Noelle. I nodded and pointed at Akarsha. showing I knew. We went to my house to hang out before my parents got home.
