I know something is bothering Diya. Am I gonna say something about it? no, but I'ma do something. After going through mine and Noelle's "morning routine" of going back and forth, I snuck away from her and sat beside Diya,
"What's wrong homie?" I asked in my charmingly worried way. She smiled at me and waited. I could see the sadness in her eyes.
"I just. Miss someone," she said her words far apart from each other.
"There you are. Why did you leave me? " Noelle asked loudly.
Her eyes glanced from me to Diya a few times before calming down. Noelle sighed and sat on the other side of Diya. Noelle pulled her into an awkward side hug and whispered something in her ear. Diya nodded and pulled away then got up and walked out of sight.
"What was that about?" I asked.
"Diya is going through something right now, " she answered. I was worried about my friend and confused by everything that happened. We sat for a moment uncomfortably.
"Anyway, how's your day Frenchmen?" I asked wanting to put an end to the silence.
"Why must you do these things?" she asked annoyed. God, she's cute when she's mad or annoyed.
"Because you're adorable," I said hooking my arm around her neck. I felt her tense up a bit, then she took a deep breath. She removed my arm slowly and sarcastically smiled at me.
"Don't do that." She demanded. I smiled at her words and nodded. I really enjoy messing with her. I hate to say but. I think I might like-like her.
My mind thought of three different things to do. Flirt, joke, or piss-off. Not exactly in that order.
"You know Frenchmen I didn't know you had a heart," I say jokingly.
"Of course I have a heart, no one could possibly live without one for more than fifteen minutes at most. I am deeply concerned about your thought process." She ranted blushing and hiding her face in her hand. I could clearly see she was about to laugh I love seeing her mad, she gets all flustered.
I fake gasped. "You worry about me? " I asked fairly surprised.
"I didn't mean it like that dead brain." She yelled flustered.
"So, you aren't concerned about my thought process? " I asked just trying to get her to admit she enjoys my jokes.
"Do I think you need to see a therapist? Yes. Am I gonna try to help your weird mind? No. " Noelle answered getting up.
"I'm gonna check on Diya," She stated before walking off.
So now I'm all alone. No one is around to stop me. I CAN SET UP MY NEXT PRANK! I stood up and rushed to Diya's and Noelle's locker. All I gotta do is break into it and plant the bag Inside. I opened the locker remembering the code they had told me once. And put the baggie of fake blood inside Noelle's lunchbox. It'll freak her out. I closed the locker after making sure everything is back to how it was before.
I rested against my locker and waited for the other two to arrive. As they turned the corner Noelle had a sour look on her face like when I make her mad.
Diya looked like she was talking to someone other than Noelle... That's not right, she never talks to anyone else. She's too shy.
