I fucking hate my parents, they both suck. I gripped my phone so hard it almost broke. Why do they have to be so hateful? As I raced around the corner I bumped into someone and we fell. I felt someone under me and opened my eyes. NO FUCKING WAY!

"Diya!?" I yelled she opened her eyes and smiled at me. I hugged her.

"I told you I'd be back. Didn't I?" I held her close.

"I'm never leaving you again," I whispered more to myself than anything.

"Can we at least get up then?" She asked shyly.

"Yeah." I stood up and held out my hand to help her. She smiled and took it. My heart fluttered as our hands touched.

"How's your life been?" I asked trying to find a topic to talk about.

"Okay I guess, My parents are still pressuring me to study more." She answered.

"What about yours?" She asked back.

"My parents still hate me," I said sadly. Her half smile went to a frown. She pulled me into a hug. Instantly I hugged back. God, I missed her.

"Diya! Where are you?" Someone yelled. I knew that voice...It's...Noelle.

"Back here." She answered as Noelle turned the corner.

"I thought yo..." She paused. "Why is she here!" Noelle yelled.

"I could ask you the something," I said.

"I'm not the one who left her," Noelle yelled. I could see that Diya got uneasy and I wanted to just drag her out of there.

"I didn't have a choice!" I yelled back. "My "parents" made me move, If I had a choice I would have stayed," I said furiously on the edge of yelling and or beating the shit out of her. She stayed quiet, Diya looked like she was about to pass out. I grabbed the sleeve of Diya's jacket and pulled her behind me. Noelle strolled off in front of us.

"You okay?" I asked Diya. "I'll kill someone if I have to," I said almost immediately after

"NO, no. It's okay, I just didn't think I'd see you again." She said.

"I'll always come back to you, No matter how long it takes," I said looking at her. I could see her start to lightly blush.

"Yo,, Frenchmen, Homie. Who's this... chick?" A strange voice called as we walked around the corner. I looked away from Diya and noticed a girl in a colorful windbreaker and flip-flops.

"I'm not a Frenchmen," Noelle yelled annoyed. We walked closer to her and Diya pulled me to her.

"Akarsha, this is Min. Min this is Akarsha," Diya said happily.

"Hey, Question. How many lions do you think you could beat up if all you had was a 2x4 piece of wood?" She asked. I studied her face to see If she was serious. Her face was riddled with the words, "she ain't got the guts"

"A lot!" I answered. "I'd beat them all," I said smiling.

"Wow, You made my day." She said surprised.

"Let's get lunch," Noelle said still annoyed walking to a locker. She grabbed her lunch bag and walked off as Akarsha giggled.

We sat at a table. Noelle sat on the opposite side of Diya. Akarsha sat on the table next to Noelle. I sat next to Diya, very close.

Akarsha snickered as Noelle opened her bag. Noelle reached in and pulled out a plastic bag full of something red and clumpy. Like a bag full of period blood. Noelle freaked out and threw the bag on the ground. Akarsha laughed loudly and Diya sat there in her own world.

"You pig!" Noelle yelled at Akarsha as she kept laughing.

"That was awesome." I said impressed at Akarsha. Finally, Diya has a friend who's not entirely stuck up. And who loves to annoy Noelle "Wanna be friends?" I asked.

"Ya, wait. Are you the transfer student who stabbed that kid?" Akarsha asked. Wow, the word really does travel fast.

"Yeah, So what!" I said loudly.

"Dude, I've been looking for you. We're gonna be best friends," She answered happily.
