Corbyns POV

I was just chilling in my bed, in alot of pain but I wasn't gonna show that, casually admiring the couple beside Me. Zach was on oxygen now since he could barely run his own body and Daniel wouldn't leave his side for a minute. It had been about a week since he scared us all half to death and since then Daniel hasn't been taking care of himself. He wouldn't take his meds or eat anything and he wouldn't go to weigh-ins like he's supposed to. he didnt wanna leave Zach alone or leave and have it be like last time where he barely woke up. The doctors have threatened to put in a feeding tube if he wouldn't eat or go to weigh-ins and all he said was "once Zach is ok I'll eat." I knew he wanted to eat because really who wants a feeding tube but he was just too worried about Zach.

The 15-year-old slept most of the day and when he wasn't sleeping he couldn't even sit up anymore, his chest hurt too bad. He couldn't get much air so he was on oxygen and pain meds. sometimes it just wasn't enough and he broke down crying in pain, but when he did his breathing got worse and the pain even more than before. Daniel also didnt sleep much, he made sure Zach was ok all night and when the younger woke up he pretended like he had already slept and ate.

I watched Zach and Daniel cuddle, smiling, before I heard someone talking to Jack and Jonah across the hall, now both of them in beenies. Joanh had started his chemo a week after Jack had his first round and they did it on the same day so they would go through it together. I went over to the door and saw another boy maybe 20 talking and joking with Jack and Jonah before Jack saw me.

"hey hows Zach today?" he walked over to Corbyn with Jonah.

"Ehh he's the same as yesterday still not breathing great and sleeping alot but I was told he might get a heart tomorrow, don't tell Daniel though it's not a for sure." Corbyn shrugged looking the other boy up and down. "And hows daniel?" Jonah asked and I sighed. "He won't eat or sleep or weigh in like he's supposed to they wanna put him on a feeding tube but he doesn't want that either" the other two boys sigh as well.

"Well this is an odd introduction but Eben this is Corbyn, Corbyn this is Eben one of my friends" they did a bro hug thing.

"If you don't mind my asking who are Zach and Daniel?" Eben asked

"Our friends both not doing great"

"Oh sorry I hope they get better I gotta go im Dj'ing tonight ill be back tomorrow" Eben waved bye to us as I watched him walk out

"someone has a crush" Jonah and Jack wiggled their eyebrows and I just told them to shut up. "he's cute" I mumbled making them laugh. We heard someone run down the hall and saw sam smiling with papers in her hands (she's about 26 if u were wondering). she ran up to us almost out of breath with transplant consent forms.

"Zach got it! Transplants in 4 hours!" She said breathing heavy and we all stood there shocked and looked at each other. before running into my room.

"ZACH DANIEL!!!!!!"
