Jonahs pov

Jack starts his first round of chemo today. I can tell he's nervous and I'm nervous for him too. I've been through it and I know it's not permanent, the side effects and all but still they suck ass. I've grown to really like Jack and even seeing him in pain on a regular basis hurts me. Yes, I know im a cheesy little fuck.

Jack and I were cuddling on his bed, what friends don't do that, when one of the doctors came in along with Sam with Jacks new treatment. He looked up at me with teary eyes and I just kissed his forehead and smiled at him trying to reassure him without saying anything; I kinda forgot the doctors had come in...sorry not sorry Jack.

3rd person

"Im guessing you already know the side effects?" The doctor talking to Jack said and tried to shoe Jonah away but has he got up Jack grabbed his arm. He got the message and sat in the chair next to Jacks bed still holding his hand, normal friend stuff right? "Y-ya I do" he said and ran a hand through his hair like he always did when he was nervous. "ok then all we do is put this is your port and do it again every Friday for a month or so" (a port is like an IV in your chest-ish aria) as Sam said that he was given the liquid he could then feel do into his chest and they left leaving him with joanh who of course got on jacks bed cuddeling with him once again. "see wasnt that bad" The older said and played with his hair; "you've done this before I havent" Jack tried deffending himself "and I dont feel nasty yet so thats still to come and im gonna lose my hair which isnt gonna be so attractive" he roled his eyes and went back to watching Markiplyer play cards against humanity (I love it so much lmao). "well we'll get through this together i'll help you through and your gonna be even hotter with out your hair" Jonah said and Jack looked at him smirking. "You know we're not normal friends..." Jack trailed off and sat up a bit while Jonah looked at him puzzled. Jack slowly leaned in and kissed the boy who was now underneath him slowly and softly before pulling away. They both smiled as Jack laid back down and continued the marathon of Markiplyer.

about an hour later Jacks stomach started doing flips and he groaned curling up into a ball. Jonah noticed and looked down at the smaller boy who he then frowned at and slowly rubbed his stomach knowing that's what was hurting him. "It'll pass Jacky if you need to throw up just don't on me" Jonah giggled making jack laugh but he just groaned and got up running to the bathroom. Jonah got up after him but Jack just slammed the bathroom door and locked it so Jonah couldn't get.

"Jack opens the door" He jiggled the know wanting to help the boy he had grown to love but he couldn't get in. He waited outside the door, mentally telling Jack he was gonna be ok, until he heard the toilet flush and the door unlocks. He went in and pulled Jack into his lap since he was silently sobbing against the wall. "Your ok baby you're ok" The older boy hugged him tight and rocked back and forth slowly. "It hurts Jo I hate this," he said just above a whisper, "I know It'll go away soon though," Joanh said and rubbed his back for comfort as Jack yawned, "I can get Sam to bring you pain meds if you want?" Jack just nodded and yawned again. Jonah picked up the tired younger boy and laid him down on his bed before laying next to him. He pressed the nurse call button and Sam came in noticing the boys next to each other, she gave them a look and Jonah just rolled his eyes. " Jack wanted pain meds before he went to sleep..." Joanh trailed off and smiled down at him lovingly

"Ya, of course, I'll put it in his IV how did he do today? I figured you had him covered," she asked hooking up a bag of pain meds to Jacks IV pole. "He only threw up a bit but I could tell his stomach hurt since maybe three hours after" Jonah hugged him closer when he started to stir in his sleep. "That's well better than you did" she teased him "I was 3!" he whisper-yelled and they both laughed "Ya ya ill leave you two now," she said and walked out leaving the two boys alone.

After a bit of making sure Jack was asleep and ok Jonah fell asleep as well. He loved Jack and little did he know Jack loved him too.
