If i dont wake up...

3rd person

The three excited boys ran into the room and Daniel just looked up giving us a questioning look. "Shhh guys he's sleeping" Daniel mentioned and continued playing with Zach's hair. "He got it Danny!! He got a heart he's having surgery in 4 hours!"  Jack yelled. "What really?" He asked not believing what he heard, so Sam showed him the papers. "Oh my god" was all we heard from him before he gently shook Zach awake. "Zay, baby, you got a heart wake up Zach" he groaned slightly and opened his eyes. "W-what's going o-on" the younger boy stuttered out looking at everyone around him. Daniel placed a soft kiss on his forehead before Sam handed him the papers, "look at the top" she told him and he did.

"Did I..." he trailed off looking for words that wouldn't come to him. "Yes it's in four hours we're gonna take you down to pre op in half an hour" she placed a hand on his shoulder as he smiled widely and looked at Daniel. "I'm gonna have a new heart" he said almost in disbelief, "yes you are baby yes you are".
the two snuggled up to each other with Jonah and jack in chairs next to the bed and Corbyn at the foot of the bed. They were all watching tv waiting for Sam to come take Zach for surgery and all the boys could tell Daniel was maybe the most nervous. Surprisingly it wasn't Zach he was so ready for this, but Daniel didn't want his love to leave him even if it's only for 5 hours.

"Ready to go Zach?" They all turned their heads toward the door where Sam was with the other nurses coming to take Zach for sugery. He just nodded and turned to Daniel one last time before he hand to leave. "If I don't wake up your gonna be ok right?" Zach asked as Daniel just gave him a frown "If that's what you would want of course but guess what your gonna wake up" they gave each other one last kiss. "I love you so much Danimal don't worry too much ok?" He said making Daniel laugh, "I love you too Zay I'll see you when u wake up"

Like that the boys just had to wait, An anxious 5 hours ahead of them.
"Hey Daniel how bout we go get food?" Jonah asked as him and jack were cuddled up together in Daniels bed while he and Corbyn were on Zach's. "I um o-ok" the older smiled and they went to the cafeteria to get something for Daniel to eat for the first time in a week or so.
He wasn't focused on eating he was focused on Zach but Jonah made him so he did it to make him happy.
"He's gonna be find danni"

4 and a bit hours later Sam walked into Zach dani and Corbyn room and all the boys stood up anxiously.
"H-how is he?" Daniel stuttered not certain of he wanted the answer. "They're finishing up now the transplant went well. He's gonna he in a lot of pain for the first few days but I think Zach will be good with all of u by his side" she said and told the boys she would be back later to check on Zach. The boys breathed a sigh of relief before they heard Sam pop back into the room. "Daniel weigh in NOW it's been a week" she said sternly and he just hung his head low and followed her.

They went back to Daniels least favorite room in the entire hospital and she took his vitals and such. "Daniel I don't wanna put you on a psych ward but you need to weigh in and follow your treatment, Dr.Barns still wants us to put you on a feeding tube" she took his weight and and wrote it down. The boy just sighed and tried to walk out the door but he was stopped.
"Daniel...are you gonna eat or are we putting a feeding tube in? Which is it I need to know" she said and he whispered "I'll eat" before walking back to the boys in his room.
