Remembered that Ben speaks through noise now, so I will have to go back and change that...

Todd's point of view

Viola and Ben have been taking care of me really well. Between the cleaning of my wound, helping me exercise and supporting me, I'm surprised they haven't killed me. For every once in a while my voice will slip up and say damn muscles or fucking life.

They're pretty good about it though. They just glare at me or they will slap the back of my head. And by they I mean Viola.

She's the best. I'm so thankful and glad I met her. If I hadn't have let her, I would have probably died not long after I left. She's kept me strong. She's kept me brave. And she's taught me how to love.

As she finishes reading my mother's diary, for the third time, I sit up.

"When do you wanna go. We can now that I'm healthy. We go back to the country. There's to many people here and I miss it," I say

"I don't know Todd. We still have three aircrafts that should come in soon. And last we heard one was acting up, possibly malfunctioning. If that happened then we will need to help them," she replies, slowly putting the book down before coming over to my bed.

"Maybe. But I think they'll be fine. Plus the scavenger ships already came and said they were fine. We can go," I say

"What about Ben or Angharrad. Are you just gonna leave em," she asks me grabbing my hand

"No I've thought this through. Ben said he'd come after we left. And we'd need some way to carry supplies. So, Angharrad would carry a cart full off our stuff. We'd be okay," I say smiling at her

Everything will be fine, I promise you

She smiles and nods.

"Okay. When do you wanna leave," she asks

"I'll go talk to Ben and a cart arranged," I say slowly getting up.

I leave the room and walk down the narrow hallway to Ben's living space.

Todd

"Hey Ben. Uhh-I. Viola and I-We-Ummm," I try to say

(Wanna leave) he says picking at his fingernails

"Yes! I mean, we wanna go back now. I'm healed now, and we miss the country. We'd bring Anghrarrad and a cart full of supplies. Ben, we would survive," I say smiling

(And what about the future) he ask

"The future," I ask along with my noise what future

(Building a colony. A family. A town. What would you do?) his voice asks

Ohhh. Well Todd this is what you get for not having an education- my noise says to myself

Bens noise laughs

"Maybe a ship would come down in the future. I don't know. We will figure it out. But, we've got everything but food and water ready to go," I say

(Then go. It'll be good for y'all) he says

Thanks uncle Ben! My noise screams

He smiles at me before grabbing a black knapsack from the corner of the room.

"Be-," I start

Bandages and water. Good luck. I'll get Lee and Wilf too help you. Maybe they'll join you on your way home.

"Thanks uncle Ben," I yell and start to high out of the room with the black knapsack on my shoulder, "I love you."

I love you too boy. So did Cillian.

"I know. I loved him too. Bye," I smile sadly before continuing down the hall to Viola and is room.

"Viola," I ask softly opening the door, only to find her asleep on the bed.

I smile before placing the blanket over her and sitting in the chair.
