Nothing? Really?

Lucas POV:

Riley- "Do you still have feelings for Maya?" More than you can even imagine.

Lucas- "Woah what? Riley, where is this coming from?"

Riley- "You wanted to see her today, not me, and when I tried the nickname thing, you told me not to because it was Maya's thing, and you have all these nicknames for her but not me and- "

Lucas- "The nicknames are just to annoy each other. It means nothing at all."

Riley- "Yeah but I thought that she made fun of you because she liked you. I already lost you to her once, and I don't want to do it again." She started crying softly and I gave her a hug.

Lucas- "Riley it's ok. I don't have feelings for Maya and I never did. I only started to like her when she was acting like you, remember?"

Maya- "You know, when I confronted you about that, you lied and told me otherwise. Yet here you are, telling Riley what I knew all along." Shit! She's here and she heard everything. "And Riley, wow I can't believe you. You lost him to me? Thanks a lot. I hid my feelings for him for at least 2 years while you can't even keep them to yourself for less than a month. I sure as hell didn't steal him away from you, but you were too busy wallowing in your self pity to notice, huh?" She turned to look at me and I could see behind her anger, was hurt and betrayal. "It means nothing? Really?"

Lucas- "We didn't mean-"

Maya- "Oh yeah, then what did you mean then? Huh? I really wanna know now."

Riley- "Peaches, why are you even upset? You don't like him anymore!"

Maya- "Because you can't seem to recognize that I put both of your happinesses before my own, always." She spoke with absolutely no emotion. Maya left before either of us could say anything.
